    Hi everyone,

    I originally tried this diet last May and bailed out after two days but having put on 11lbs since then i'm back with a vengeance!

    Having originally gone to university 8 years ago at 8st12lbs I'm now over 6 stone heavier and i've had enough. Had some shakes left over from last time so started on Monday and had my first meeting with CDC at lunchtime today. Felt awful the first two days but i'm away from my bf during the week so it makes it easier to power on through (weekends are gonna be tough though!). I planned on telling myself that I was starting from today as that was the official starting weight weigh in but still couldn't help being a little disappointed when it showed only a loss of 2lbs (I'm also trying to remind myself that on Monday I weighed myself first thing and with no clothes on! so that's gotta have made a difference).

    Things I need to remember to get through this -
    • What's a few months in the grand scheme of things? nothing!
    • I am making the decision to be a happier and healthier me!
    • No stories, no excuses.
    • I'm lucky to have the people I love around me.


    I love this forum already, so much support to stay strong and focused. Looking forward to being a part of it as I go on my journey
