Hello guys,

I thought I might start a diary for my weight loss journey. First of all I'm 24 years old and currently living in Derby with my partner and our son. I started this plan on Tuesday 30th April and my starting weight was 20st 10lbs. I was not horrified at this result because I knew that that would be the biggest I would ever be in my life again. I was so inspired by my consultant. She has done exactly what I want to do and in the time frame I would like to do it in as well. She went from a size 24/26 (I am currently as size 24) to an amazing size 8/10 in less than a year!!! My aim is to loose just over 9 stone to become the woman I was always meant to be.

It's now day 4 and to be honest I am loving it. I did have a sneaky weigh on day 2 and had already lost 3lbs so I was quite encouraged. I have also found the meals to be quite tasty which does make a huge difference, well all of them apart from SPICY TOMATO....yuck. So so disgusting. I have also been drinkin alot of water daily. I've also been looking and reading amazing success stories to spur me on!

Hope to keep you all updated . x

oh man...hunger overcame me n i just ate. i had 3 wholegrain ryvitas n they tasted fabulous! I can't afford to be snacking mid afternoon :( what should i do

It is very easy to make slip ups at the start...the best thing you can do is put it behind you and move forward...be sure to drink your water as it does help to curb the hunger but if you feel hungry just have another pack if you have one to spare...failing that instead of eating ryvitas which are full of carbs and will only make you twice as hungry try some lean chicken as the protein will help curb the hunger.

I feel like I am just falling apart now. All over a sudden I feel really tired n worn out. I drank some more water I'm at 2 litres at the moment n felt sick. All week my partner has been making my sons tea so I haven't been cooking but he is working late tonight. I started off strong but the urge to eat is eating me up. Someone sed I would be fine after 3 days but I'm only starting to feel it now.

Put your slip-up behind you and start over. Read the first paragraph of your first post again and again. Become the woman you want to be, you can do it! :) ~Cas x

I am going to do what u have sed n put it behind me. Tomorrow is a new day. That is what I will keep tellin myself.

Day 5: so far so good! Had my porridge n soup. Drank about 3 litres so far. Feelin a little bit hungry but the housework is keepin me pretty busy.

Brilliant! You should be proud of yourself for getting back on track :)

It's my first day SSing, I've had a chocolate and a toffee and walnut shake. Loved them both! Porridge for dinner and I'm at just over 3L of water down.

Good luck for the rest of your journey. ~Cas x

I've been looking at the chocolate one for a coupe of days now not sure whether to try it. I feel the same way about the strawberry one. i think im gonna have to man up lool. U have given me an idea tho. Mayb I should mix up my packs a bit more. ATM I always have porridge for breakfast, soup 4 Lunch n shake for dinner.

I never used to like chocolate milk until I was pregnant (baby's 6months) and now I can't get enough of it so I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the chocolate shake was. I ordered a variety to see what I like best.

I'm not sure if all consultants are the same, but mine said that if I ordered a few packs of something then realised I didn't like it, he'd swap them over no problem as long as it was within 14 days. It means the most you'd ever be wasting is one meal if you found something that you didn't like.

I can't wait till I can try out the bars! Mmmm ~Cas x

I'm having my chocolate shake now. It's not bad. Im not in love with it tho. N yes. My consultant is the same. The only own I will not be orderin again is spicy tomato. Everything else is fine xx how u gettin on today?

The last time I did this diet I really loved the bars. I've heard on here that there were whispers on us being able to have up to 2 a day.

I'm getting on great. Gonna have some porridge in half an hour and my last litre with some berry flavouring.

I think once I'm able to have bars that I'll just stick to one a day. Going to mix things up as much as possible so it doesn't get too repetitive. Did you lose a lot the last time you done it? ~Cas x

That's lovely to hear. The first time I did it a few years back I only lost 10lb but it's my fault because I never followed it properly. My head screwed on plus hubby is supporting me so it's good. Plus I let them get involved by letting them close their eyes n pick what I will be having each day.

It's great that your husband is supporting you. It means so much to me that my family understand how much I want this. They'll be helping me every step of the way :)

Well, that's my consumption over for day 1 and I can honestly say that I feel good! I'm not hungry and my mind isn't on food. I managed over 4 litres of water, which I'm really pleased with. Going to watch some Sat night tele and then get an early night.

Good luck for tomorrow. ~Cas x

Keep it up Hun. U are defo gonna go far xx having the support makes the world of difference xx good night Hun

Day 6: Under the advice of a lady who lost 44lbs in just 8weeks she advised me to have my meals later on in the day. This totally goes against what I was used to before the diet. She said it might help the hunger feeling so today I had breakfast at 11am, gonna have lunch in next 10 mins or so and so dinner at 7/8pm. I have only drank 1 litre of water today. That is prolly why I feel a bit weak and not one drop of food has touched my lips today. X

B: apple and Cinnamon porridge
L: tbd
D: tbd

Does anyone know of any weightloss challenges 4 may?

Day 7....eeeeek its weigh day tomorrow. Today started off wonderful. I felt pumped n refreshed and was really enjoying the weather. My mother in law held a BBQ and I was really good. I never touched any of the food left. When it came time to go home, thats when the problem started. My hubby decided to bring some food back with him and guess what, I ate it all! 2 homemade burgers, 3 sausages and a mini sweetcorn. Its only afterwards I felt quite sick. I feel a bit stupid now because I have to be weighed tomorrow n feel like I may have just shot myself in the foot. xx

Oh no! You were doing so well. At least what you ate was homemade and a lot of protein. It could've been a lot worse as you could've binged on junk food and fast food.

Put it behind you, don't dwell on it. Tomorrows a new day :) ~Cas x
