Just started my CWP yesterday and found it not too bad. I had maple and pecan porridge at 11am, vanilla shake at 3.30pm and spicy tomato soup at 7pm along with 5 litres of water as my mouth constantly feels dry and there's a slight metallic taste. I have around 8 stone to lose and ideally would love to be a size 12 which for my 5ft 6 frame would be ok. I'm a size 20 at the minute. Not sure about my weight as my consultants scales are almost a stone of a difference to mine but I'm not going to worry about how much I weigh, just how much I lose.

Feeling a wee bit spaced out and tired today but know that in a few days ill feel a bit better.

Thanks! Just had my last soup of the day and not feeling too bad. Just read your diary and you are an inspiration :) looking forward to the hunger pangs going!

Hi- I also started (again!) on Wednesday and so far battling through. I don't feel too bad on the whole and providing I drink the water I'm not too hungry. I've started to keep a diary which I've stuck some old thin pics in. That's helping too as I can read my reasons when I'm having a struggle and remind myself why I'm doing this.

Wishing you luck today. x

Thanks Samsara. Good luck to you too. I'm not finding things too bad so far but I'm usually good with a weight loss plan first time round but I'm hoping this is the plan for me. Have probably saved the money that I spent on packs so far as I haven't bought anything from the shops from Tuesday. Just made me realise how much I spend on food for myself. Hope you have a good day today and we're both on our way to Ketosis and no hunger pangs :)

Day 2 went ok. Had a toffee and walnut shake for breakfast (which I probably won't buy again, ok, but not the nicest), had a hot choc orange shake which wasn't too bad and chick and mushroom soup for tea/supper which was lovely. Will definitely be getting some more of those bad boys! Water intake was around 3.5 litres so aiming for about 4 litres today. So far no headaches (and bizarrely no 'wind' as I have ibs and have a tendency to be a bit windy TMI lol

Have one soup left which I'm going to keep for Sunday dinner (!) and 2 porridges and the rest shakes as I wasn't sure I would like them.

Fingers crossed for day 3 x

Thanks hun, it makes it all the more worth while to hear that, I'm struggling as I get closer to the end, but since I know I am helping others too it means there's no excuses :)

Day 3 was slightly more difficult than previous days, but I survived and stuck to it 100%. Dreamt that I ate some cupcakes then realised that I shouldn't be eating them and spat them out. Was making OH breakfast this morning and accidently licked some yogurt off my finger, but realised as soon as I had done it and scraped it off my tongue again :-/

Hoping day 4 is a bit easier than yesterday

Day 4 a success :) :) had a busy day running DS to gymnastics, then DD#2 to swimming and DD#1 to a birthday party! Managed to squeeze a vanilla shake in there somewhere!! Big challenges today as I got the kids their Saturday subway (we do it every week) that was a killer as bread is my big downfall :-( the smell was amazing but I got through it and didn't even nibble on my wee mans leftovers or succumb to a raspberry cheesecake cookie!!

OH wanted to go shopping for a new jacket so we popped into town and they were all hungry again so they stopped in boots and got a meal deal each. The smell of crisps and pasta salad were very hard to take but I sipped on my water and opened my window to get rid of the food smells in the car.......forgetting that we were parked beside a McDonald's, so window had to be put up again and I had to endure the smell in the car.

I find I'm very sensitive to food smells at the minute-hence why my poor family are eating out because I feel I can't be trusted to cook for them, although I think today is the day that I will make them some spag Bol and see how I go. Going to do it now before church and then leave the windows edged to get rid of the smells.

Good luck to everyone today and hopefully we can make it another 100% day xxx

Day 5 was 100% (apart from the tiny pick of bread and the little drink of juice I had in church for communion lol).

Got up early and made Spag Bol for the family (slimming world style) then opened all the windows to get the food smell out of the house. Had a leek and potato soup with them at lunch time, which I don't think ill get again-not fussed on it. Eldest 2 girls had a parade with Brownies and Rainbows so walked them in and walked back to a friends house, them walked back for them so was probably about 1.5 miles in total. Felt quiet tired last night but I got through it.

Hoping for another 100% day for today and hoping that it gets easier from today (day 6). Just about to get out of bed, so here we go....... :)

What a burst of energy today!!! Day 6 started and I've cleaned my kitchen, dining room and bathroom (unheard of for me)

Had a wee porridge at 11ish-plain one, tasted a wee bit salty but bearable-and about 2.5l of water. Really hope I can remember this feeling and stick to it, even through the harder days that come in the future!! Looking forward to chilling out at my Pilates class later.

Well done for resisting! Funny you say that about smells...I've noticed that too. Wonder if it's being in ketosis? X

Hi wigglybunny, I'm not sure. It started on day 3-4 so maybe it is. How are you getting on? X

Good ta. 100% so far. Week 2 wi this morning so we shall see! Fingers crossed. Not hungry any more and fleeting cravings, so feel am quite lucky really. Just got to manage not to get bored! ;) x

Day 6 was 100% and went to my Pilates class as usual. Found it slightly harder than usual, but my friend did also so (and she's 9stone lighter than me) so didn't feel too bad after. Not as sore today either.

Day7 (today) has been 100%-just supping on a banana shake as I type. Its yum-and I hate bananas. Tastes like banana sweets :)

Just also back from WI and got the shock of my life to discover that I have dropped 15lb in 1week :) absolutely delighted as I only expected to have about 6lb off!!! Have went from 19.1 on CDC scales to 18st exactly. Am not expecting a big loss next week, maybe a lb or so but hoping it levels out on week 3!!!

Am on top of the world right now :)

Thanks wigglybunny. Am still on a bit of a high. Definitely lost a lost of fluid as my wedding ring and engagement ring now fit me again comfortably :)

How have you done today?

Not bad, ta. 6lbs off. :) just taken this week's photo too and compared to last week and the week before...can see the difference already but so far to go! Excited tho. :) x

Well, have been 100% for the past few days. Still having hunger pangs but nothing that a glug of water doesn't sort out. Still drinking about 4l of water and am starting to notice my clothes getting a bit looser-not by much-but definitely noticeable.

Loving having so much energy. Spent 3hours gutting out my daughters bedroom yesterday and definitely burnt a few cals!! Haven't been as house proud with having PND but I really feel the dark clouds disappearing now and feel a lot brighter :)

Glad to hear you're feeling brighter. It's a great feeling to know that sooner or later the weight will be gone. :) x
