Step2 810kcal Viva's descent into slimness.....Let's flipping well do this

Hello :)

Started my journey today weighing 15st 7.5lbs.
I have previously done CD before and lost around 4 stones but over the course of about 3 years regained my weight and bad eating habits.
I have also had numerous re-starts but my head was never really in the right place. My chatterbox would relentlessly tell me to quit.

Today i feel strong and ready and prepared to chat back to my chatterbox.

I'm focusing on all the good and positive things that CD and being slim can bring and ignoring everything else :)

I have an appointment with my CDC tonight so get fresh supplies and am currently using up a few sachets of Slim and Save (couldn't get on with that) until i get my new lovely CD products

I plan on doing 810, which is what i previously did. I would rather have a small evening meal and sacrifice a couple of pounds a month then not eat at all. But that is just me.



My username has some relevance too, i plan on taking my DH to Las vegas for his 40th which is in two years, so enough time to work on my body transformation and get saving those pennies too. Don't know which is easier TBH

Just finished with my CDC, got a weeks worth of supplies and got weighed. I'm heavier on her scales but it's not going to deter me. I have also drank about 4 litres of water so i could have just been holding onto that.

Mrs chatterbox has been rearing her ugly, boiley head a little today. 'You can't do this', 'Do another diet, this is too extreme', 'you'll only end up regaining it'. Have focused and kept going. Ignoring her little jabs at me. She is afterall non existant. :)

So today i have had
Breakfast: Chocolate Shake
Lunch: Chocoalte Orange Shake
Dinner: Fish with Green Veg and a little Ginger and Soy sauce
Later: My beloved Cranberry bar with a cuppa coffee

Feeling happy!!
 
Well done on starting back on the diet! I have just started and was horrified at how much I weighed!! I have 4stone to lose to achieve my tht weight for my height. So excited to finally be doing something about how I look and feel!!

I'm doing step 2 as my bmi is over 40 and I'm finding it really easy, I've lost 1 stone 1lbs to five weeks.:clap:

I love my meal at the end of the day, I don't think I would have got through it otherwise!
 
Definitely I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Prawns and veg which was lovely. Now gonna go make my cuppa with my bar!! Xx
 
It's been a whole 10 months since i started this diary. I didn't last long on my last 810 attempt, i don't recall the exact reason why but at least i can say i've lost a stone since then!!
I attempted to do JUDDD for a while and whilst i love the concept i find myself still overeating on the non fast days and why weight seems to bounce all over the place.

I finally saw my CWPC on Monday and have got supplies for the next week. I start step 2 again tomorrow, and this time i won't fall off the wagon!!

Hiya, yes glugging like there's no tomorrow. Been really busy with work today so haven't really noticed an absence of food to be honest. Had the porridge for breakfast which was good. I'm a late eater so probably won't have my second shake until about 4, then dinner about 8 and i'll have a bar in the evening.
How are you doing??

I'm restarting today after regaining my weight loss from 2011. I can't believe I put it all back on and more. Silly me!!

Anyway. WE can do it again because we've done it before. It'll be over quickly and then we can maintain and be HAPPY again!

Also, more motivation for you... I went to Vegas last year and it was AMAZING. I had the best time of my life. We went to the grand canyon etc and I literally can't wait to go back. BUT... I felt awful there. I felt huge. And disgusting and it tainted some of the trip. I so wish I hadn't ruined some of the best experiences of my life by being so unhappy. I won't ever do that again. I'm going to be slim and happy!

Hi Elsie, thanks for popping by, i know how it feels to regain all the weight. I did it too in 2010. I got to my goal weight of 10 stones and felt amazing, then slowly started piling it back on. I did have 3 house moves in a year and 3 VERY young kids so i think that contributed. Not enough time to cook healthily and too much reliance on takeaways.

Oh, i love that you've been to Las Vegas, it really is on my bucket list. I just hope i can get the funds together and most importantly, childcare!!
I also know what you mean by weight tainting the way you felt on holiday. I felt exactly the same on my last two trips abroad. Although i love travelling and spending time at the beach with the kids i feel like my holidays are always tainted by being overweight and uncomfortable.
I have a holiday to Southern France this year and it would be nice to shift some bulk of this weight.

How are you getting on??
 
Today has been fine really. Struggling with my bladder mainly because I have whats called an Overactive Bladder which makes drinking the water difficult. I had a litre plus a decaff brew and two shakes. My bladder is in meltdown I think! I feel like I'm going every 15 minutes!

Just doing our tea tonight. I'm on 810 so doing cod fillet with a portobello mushroom and leeks. Doing my partner roast chicken with chips, veg and gravy. Mostly all in the oven so at least its easy to do both together! I'm amazed about how much cod we can have! I did SS last time!

I'm worried for tomorrow because I'm working 7am-8pm! I'm wondering how I'll cope!!

When are you going to France?? x
 
Hi, again i'm resurecting this thread as i am back on CWP.
I had a stint just before my holidays where i lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks on step 2. I then went on holiday and more or less ate what i liked and have only gained 2 pounds so i'm thrilled to be honest.
I bought enough supplies to last me about 2 weeks and i am due to see my CWPC on 10th Sep for my weigh in.

So far today i have had 2 Chocolate velvet tetra shakes, they really are my favourite and i could easily have these instead of anything else but i've also got some lemon bars which are lovely also.
I'm still undecided whether to go back to doing 810 plan (step 2) or stick with SS. Sometimes by the time ive cooked my low carb meal i'm not really that hungry for it but eat it anyway. I'm pretty sure once ketosis has visited i could easily do without it and have slightly faster weight loss as a result.
Hmmmm, i'll keep you updated on that decision.

Once kids are in bed i'm going to relax to watch x factor with a black coffee and a lemon bar.
