After getting so much inspiration from everybody else's I decided it was time to start my own diary!

I'm 30 in a few weeks and wishing I'd stuck to plan the first time round as I always planned to be 30 and skinny. I started CD last year with the dream of looking amazing on my wedding day (March 2013). I was thrilled with a 2 stone loss and felt great at 13 stone even though I was still overweight by quite a lot. I could have done better and will make so many excuses such as I went abroad for a my hen party, Christmas came along, my birthday was next and so on, but at the end of the day I will always regret not losing a larger amount.

So it's now December of the same year and I piled all of my weight back on plus an extra stone. The usual happened where I went straight back to old habits and I would even go as far to say I ate more food than before, because I'd missed it so much on CD.
Now is the time when I have to stop and take a big long look in the mirror and ask myself where I have gone because this blob is not the real me! As an always obese adult I wonder "am I brave enough to find out who's under the flab?"

So I'm on day 14 and feeling super motivated that this is it! This is the last time I will be bulging out of my red pyjamas looking like an even fatter version of santa that's eaten a few too many mice pies.

Second weigh in tomorrow and I'm hoping for a 4lb loss to make it a stone in 2 weeks. Fingers are tightly crossed!
 
Well I lost 6lb so am amazingly happy. That's 16lb in 2 weeks! Well on my way for getting where I want to be.
Have been warned I may have a smaller loss next week with having 2 large losses to start but I'm so motivated it doesn't matter! xx

I weighed 15 stone 2 in may 2011 and now weigh 9 stone 5. I've been at target for about 15 months now so feeling tentatively optimistic that I've cracked it this time!

I did CD in June 2012 and I sole sourced for 7 weeks, losing over two stone. Take it a day at a time,don't give yourself permission to cheat and in no time at all you'll be at target.

Well done Doddles that's great! What you said struck a chord about who am I under the flab!! haha. Sometimes we punish ourselves by overeating almost like we don't deserve to be slim? But we do... that's what I love about this diet you can't sedate yourself with food! what a great loss though 16lbs in 2 weeks in a foreign country with no Counsellor keep it up! :)
 
Motivational words there hunni. Even after being weighed today I hadn't really put it into perspective how well I am doing so thank you for that! It really is tough here with the hubby and son stuffing their faces and none of my good friends around for support. Also my hubby works for the foreign commonwealth office and so there are an absolute ton of social events that I have to deal with. I have one on Thurs and another on Saturday where I shall be eating only chicken if it's on offer and drinking lots of water! I'm having a day off on Christmas day so knowing that it will soon be here is keeping me on the straight and narrow again. Another good day today just got to keep them coming xx
 
You are doing exceptionally well!! I too have a face stuffing hubby (love him) that does a physical job so he doesn't even put on weight...grrr! But seriously it must be so hard without mates around for support too. Just got to think of the goal, you have a lovely face too just imagine when you get to 9'7. I remember when I got to 10'7 with WW back in 2006 (i'm 5'7) and I was wearing size 10 jeans... no better feeling!! You can have a lovely treat on xmas day then straight back on it :)

Brilliant! Breaking your big goal into smaller goals is a great incentiviser. How has your day been today? I have been struggling with hunger pangs for 1st time during the diet- really weird? X
 
Hi hunni I too have been super hungry and have had twice as much chicken as I should've had for the past 3 days :(! Going to ss for the rest of the week and see if it helps to get rid of the hunger xx

It's so strange how the body reacts I have a massive headache today, it's almost like going into ketosis all over again. Weird! I only lost a pound this week but lost lots of inches? I don't think chicken will affect you xxx
 
I'm hoping not but we will see come Monday. I'm expecting a small loss this week anyway as I don't see how I could get a big one again although I'd love to! A pound will do me. How have you got on with that headache? They are meant to mean lack of water but I get them when I've drank 6 pints!! xx
 
Today has been a fairly good day although I ate an awful lot of chicken. Debating whether to have my last shake or not considering I don't want to go too high cals wise. Monday seems a long time away this week but I'm already on day 17 which I'm pretty proud of tbh. I'm actually doing this and doing well at it. AWESOME! GO ME! Ha! xx

Totally go you!!! This diet is INSANE. Takes massive willpower!! Actually don't know how I am doing this either!! I actually went to bed this pm to get rid of the headache and it's eased a little. They are lying about water causing it coz I've drank loads lol!! I'm sure you will get a loss. I do think its important to drink all the shakes because it's the minimum nutrients your body needs to actually function even in ketosis so I would have it. But it's up to you! Xxx

I'm glad you said that as I've not even had one shake yet today and need to get the ball rolling lol. 3 pints of water already though! May even have porridge for tea so that I feel like I'm eating with everybody else. I purposely have no chicken in the house and can't get out of the compound to get some so I shall be a good girl this evening! xx
 
So this week is going rather fast now and I'm starting to "feel thinner" even my husband has commented that my jeggings were baggier than usual. Of course this is extremely motivating when and I and other people start to notice the weight coming off.
I have a party to go to tomorrow night and although I won't be eating any rubbish I am allowing myself a few vodka and diet cokes. Feeling positive again this week for a loss albeit a small one. Can't wait to get on the scales on Monday. I need 4lb off in the next 10 days to reach my Christmas goal and then I will be enjoying a few choccies and a lovely dinner on the day and then straight back to it on boxing day. I'm not going to go mad and binge on everything in sight which I have done on this diet in the past. It only made me feel crap and wasted a whole week getting the weight back off again. I am not here to waste weeks I am here to utilise each one of them in my battle against the flab! xxxx
 
Another update. Ridiculously tempted to cheat tonight. Luckily my hubby has made me feel really guilty for having such thoughts. It's good that I don't want to disappoint him but at the same time I find it really irritating that he tells me what I can and can't eat lol. Find myself irritated at the slightest thing recently and my mind is constantly on food! Going to have a porridge in a min which I'm hoping will sort out the hunger pangs. The 20 minute rule, where you are thinking of eating something and give yourself twenty mins to see if you change your mind before eating it, has worked 3 times for me today!! Motivation is still high though...roll on weigh day xx

I'm the same tonight really tempted to cheat, just warmed up home made chilli and rice with garlic bread for my husband while I have a freezing cold chocolate mint shake to eat... There's no comparison! Also it's such a miserable wet windy day when it's so tempting to eat carbs!! But still going strong... Saw my friend today that hadn't seen me since I started diet and she said she couldn't believe how thin my face was!! So store up all these little compliments girl and just soldier on woooo!!

It's a nice feeling to be in control! Can't believe Xmas day is only just over a week away. At least it'll be a nice treat for you! Do you think you'll be able to get back on it straight away Boxing Day? Fortunately I don't celebrate Xmas so no Xmas day pressure for me :) gona try and stay on it all through its just ignoring the lovely food in the shops which can be tricky for me. I got really hungry yesterday too it's unfortunate that ketosis doesn't stop that for is! I got loads of banana shakes until they started to remind me of that penicillin stuff you have as a kid lol!!
