New year, new me..... Finally

So... Now that Xmas is out of the way I can finally concentrate on this flabby tummy blocking the view of my feet! Yes, I did use Xmas as an excuse to postpone but not any longer!

For as long as I remember I've been big boned, chubby, muscular and every other alias for fat. Desperately need to regain control of my greediness and hopefully take charge of my life.

Induction with my CDC is on New Year's Day and with about 5 stone to lose (including all those bad Xmas nights out!!) I'm going to need all the help I can get from you lovely boys and girls! So please feel free to pop along and nag/moan/shout and everything else to get this fat a** off the sofa!

Xx

Count me in! I need to lose just over 3 stone on 4 months. Already seen my consultant and got all my product for week 1. I'm starting 2nd jan.

Great to have you aboard Rozzie!!

From what I've heard 3 stone in 4 months should be achievable with time to spare so I'm sure well keep each other going :)

Bubbles, I found you!!!!! I'm so excited for you starting this journey :D I lost 5 stone on a vlcd a few years ago, then life got in the way of me doing maintenance and after a couple of years of false starts I've FINALLY managed to lose 3st 7lbs since 3rd October. I'll not only be following your journey but joining you, as after the food of the last couple of days I think I better actively haunt these threads again over the next couple of weeks as I get back in the flow fully (it's what kept me going in October!) You guys should check out my old consultant on U tube 'Dual Dynamics' as they have some excellent motivational videos to get you geared up for Cambridge. He's a great guy and what you see is exactly how he is! (Hope this isn't breaking any rules moderators)

You can achieve this weight loss relatively easily - just keep your eye on the prize, do the maintenance when you get to goal (like my sister did) and you'll be fine (and you'll get to keep every pound off! :D) xx Well done on making this decision xx

Hiya Beverley!!

Thanks, I'll defo check out those utube vids! You've done fantastic so far especially over Xmas-I'm in awe!

I'm really quite nervous about starting. It's going to be hard work but soo worth it in the end.

Don't be nervous sweets - get excited! You will NEVER be this weight again. Never.

The first week is a shock to the system - but I've had worse (the dentist's, any injection, childbirth, crying in frustration in a changing room because my fat a$$ won't fit in an M&S size 22 blouse, walking in rain) - it's not torture, just mentally challenging, but you'll soon learn how to growl at your own negative nelly daemons :D...

You can do this love. Promise! Have your few days off, mentally prepare yourself and then tackle the biggest gift you'll ever give yourself x It is so, so worth it!

I think it's a nerves about the unknown mainly. But yes, I should be excited! I won't have to be so envious of the manikins in the shop window wearing those gorgeous dresses. My sizes will be left on the sales rack-not because they're too big for everyone else but because they're too small! I've had many strops in the changing rooms haha

Can't wait to start and see the results!

Absolutely skinny2bme! I'll check out your diary :) I hope your all better now? What is your target loss?

Xx

I have been ill for months, just been diagnosed with Hashimotos hypothyroidism which is an auto-immune disease. It will slow my rate of loss but hopefully I will lose something.I actually want to lose about 6 1/2 stone...I hope to do that within a year xx

.... And you will.

You're 5'8" like me, so be sure to kick off with four shakes if you can manage it, and be kind to yourself. I say that because you have a slightly tougher road ahead, but can still lose faster on CWP than on any other system so be kind and patient with yourself. Don't let impatience and frustration 'punk' you. You will achieve this and will inspire others to not give up (my eldest sis has a severe thyroid condition, Bubbles - not the middle sis who did LL). BIG hugs and I look forward to following along with you and Bubbles xx

Hiya, well 2 days to go till I officially start but I have successfully got rid of all the bread, potatoes, crisps and cake out of the house! Just this damn Xmas chocolate to get rid of now! Problem is that everyone at work is also dieting so noones eating anything!!

I've read on your posts that your not having a great time :( chin up and just remember why u started! Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels :)

Xx

Good luck for your start today - remember to drink lots of water - usually when were hungry were actually thirsty lol...
I drink green tea with a slice of lemon - gets me through the day and helps with missing my beloved brews...
Can't wait to read about your journey :)

Happy new year!!

I've had my intro with my consultant tonight and have all my shakes and soups for the week :)

Tomorrow it is!

Wish me luck
