A new journey
Hi all, new to this and its my first post.
Today is my first day of SS, so far i've had a toffee and walnut shake for brekkie and a banana shake for lunch, i'm going to have a soup for dinner tonight. I feel ok, although to be fair I have had a total blow out over xmas eating and drinking so feeling the effects today of an alcohol fuelled NYE but nothing that an early night won't cure....usually its days like this (the day after a hangover) that I want to eat everything in sight but this is different today!I'm looking forward to getting to how I want to be, its been a long time. I know I can maintain it once i'm there because I usually do eat fairly healthy and exercise regularly however the last 12 months have been hell for me with personal problems that are now behind me (thank god) During the last year i've turned more and more to junk/fast food and sugary snacks when i've felt low, which obviously makes me feel even lower as I put on weight (I know it will make me feel worse before I eat it, but I still always did!) but no more!
So here's to a positive and successful journey!!
Well day 1 done 100% and im feeling good this morning. Drank abiut 4ltr of water and a couple of black teas. I even had energy for a steady hour of cardio at the gym. The same for today :cool:
