    Time to bite the bullet

    Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

not sure I am posting this in the right place but have decided to take the leap and have a consultation booked in for tomorrow!!!!!!!!

the decision to diet hit me back in august when on a trip to Alton towers with my younger cousin I was unable to go on any rides other than the rapids

this was devastating as she has always seen me as her fun loving, try and do anything big cousin

since then I have been using diet whey with some fantastic results (lost 2Stone and 6lbs in 7 weeks) supplementing 2 meals a day! alas for one reason or another I fell of the wagon and have maintained my weight but not lost any more since mid October.

so when I started at the start of September I was rocking in at dead on 26 stone and 26 years of age!

my current weight (according to my home scales) is 23stone 9lbs and I will be setting a target weight of 14 stone (the last time I weighed this I was 13 years old

I truly feel the time is right and want to throw myself in at the deep end on the SS plan!

I will put all my starting details in and add a signature after my consultation tomorrow and will update this regularly with my progress.

to all those dieting hard - Self believe is worth more than the opinion of anyone else on the planet -Believe in your self and anything is possible!

Good luck, I started SS yesterday. Doing it 100% as I want the results and at the moment no matter how much I try and control what I eat, it always ends up too much (comfort/stress eating) so I feel that divorcing food for a while is the best option and then gradually introduce it back into my life.

You can do it, think of the end goal and that will spur you on every minute of the day!!

    xx

thanks - its great to find supportive people.

I know I eat the wrong things and way too much of them so I figure if I cut out food completely for a while it will give me the chance to start afreah and hopefully more balanced relationship with food in the long run

Had the chicken and mushroom soup for tea and have to say it was the nicest thing yet!

Have to admit I am feeling a little peckish at times but find this is worse straight after a shake... Guess its just because my stomach is used to bigger portions

5 litres of wayer down so should be good on that count at least

Stick with it vic - I hear day 3 and 4 are tge worst but got the upmost respect for you 100% so far and know uou can do it xxx

Yeah I heard that too but honestly been fine and not really even hungry...yeah I deffo miss food and treats but that's in the mind ive liked everything I've tried so far, had banana, vanilla, strawberry, toffee n walnut, choc mint, mango shakes and spicy tomato, vegetable and oriental chilli soups.

Im doing it with my brother, he has a lot more to lose and he has a very unhealthy relationship with food but hes doing sooooo well 100% too. Im so proud. We went to supermarket earlier for some tissues and his milk (he's on ss+ as his bmi very high) and he said he felt a big achievement not feeling too bad or missing out on buying the things we used to! xx

Our cdc advised my bro against only having 3 and encouraged him to have 4 each day but mine is 3 per day but as long as you're closely monitoring it nope dont mind...ask away! I have just over 3.5 stone to lose, my brother has over 9 stone to lose.
Ive always been a gym goer anyway so ive done an hour (very steady/easy) cardio each day, just walking on treadmill...but also today me and my bro went for a 4.5 mile walk n it waa great. We used to tp the walk regularly couple of years ago when my bro was losing weight with weight watchers. Our cdc said fine to exercise just don't do too much and listen to your body. Going for a walk is great tho cos not only burns more calories it also passes some time haha xx

I think it just depends on the individual as I have done 2 shakes and a high protein meal before (and quite recently) with phd so vlcd isnt completely new for me! I have been told no excercise for at least two weeks especially with me going in lower
