Mission to be a size 12

Hi all,

So I've now been on ss for 30 days. So into my 5th week so thought id write a diary to keep me on the straight and narrow :) also to perhaps help others starting out.

Im 30, I was always a size 12 until about the age of 24. Over the past 6 years I've very slowly put on weight. I don't really have an issue with food, i.e binging I just like 3 meals a day and treats at the weekend. I started cambridge on 03/01, I started at 14.12 I'm quite tall so my goal is around 11 - 11.7.

I've lost 1 stone 7lb in 4 weeks. I'm currently 13.5. Weight losses have been as follows:
Wk 1 -8lb
Wk 2 -6lb
Wk 3 -3lb
Wk4 -4lb

I'm doing ss but with the odd bit of chicken to keep me going.

First 10 days were a proper struggle but well into it now and the losses and how I now feel keep me going. Plan at the moment is to do another 4 weeks on ss and see how I feel.

I was a tight size 16 when I started, I'm now a 14 and have bought a load of size 12's to aim too. I'm planning to try them on once a week to see how they feel and I'm so determined to keep going until they fit. I will be skinny again!!!!

Ill hope to update every few days. This site has helped me so much, I love reading everyone's diaries. Is all about mind over matter :)

Awesome results, certainly spurs you on when you can feel it in your clothes. Hope you get to your size 12 soon - good luck :)
 
Keep going Liz, size 12s are in sight. I am feeling very good about myself today as I resisted rolls and sausage & bacon at the party last night only drank soda water! So not like me, this diet has changed my mindset, Finally!

So today was weird. Had my sisters baby shower, she had it at the harvester. I debated not going but as its her first baby and she's my only sister I had too. So I ordered just the chicken plus some grilled mushrooms and green beans, requested that nothing was could in oil or butter. Managed to only eat about a quarter of the meal and then got bad stomach ache and now feel so full and like a whale lol. Also only drank water. Feeling pleased with myself though as really just like a ss+ meal, maybe a bit more. Everyone else was having burgers etc and loads of the lovely salad and rolls, plus desert but I was good. Didn't even fancy anything bad!!!! Anyway, hopefully the bloating goes ASAP.

I'm bloody starving today!!! Not sure why. Nearing the end of week 5, well 2 days left. Hoping for a nice loss this week and literally can't wait to be in the 12 stones, it's been about 4 yrs since then!!!!

Well that's the end of week 5, not had my weigh in yet as a day behind on the weigh in. Can't believe I've done 5 weeks!!! Was only going to do 8 weeks and move up the stages but may do a bit longer, ill see. It's going so quick!!!!
Works been super busy which is good too.

One negative though is that I've just got another period. That's 3 in 5 weeks, not impressed. They've all been full on too, heavy and painful plus bloating. May explain why I was so Hungary for part of this week.

Hoping for a 3-4lb loss this week. We will see.

Week 5 weigh in and lost another 3lb. That's 1st 10lb in 5 weeks :) Well pleased also got measured and have now lost 16 inches across my body. 5 off both my waist and hips.
Really hoping for 4lb this week so I can get to 2 stone lost.
Off to the pub soon to watch the football, ill be on the water lol.

Nothing to report really, I'm more of a reader than a writer. Still 100% on the diet, this weeks been fine. Can't believe I've now completed 6 weeks :) Very happy with myself. Not sure on this weeks weight loss yet as weigh in is always later due to working. Ill be pleased with 3lb or more.

Clothes wise the 14's are getting loss which is very good. I've started buying 12's and will only move up the steps once they fit. I reckon another stone or bit more and ill be there. Fingers crossed anyway.

Not doing anything for valentines this year. We normally do but my other half is so supportive and said its fine to stay in. He even said he could lay the table and light candles and I can have my bar lol. Bless him, he's so good cooking all his own food etc at the mo.

Couple of pics below of my face. I had this weird thing happen on the tube the other day where I was looking out the window and as we went underground and it got darker I was faced with my reflection and literally couldn't believe how much my face has changed in 6 weeks. I was like who is that lol. So I dug out a pic from Christmas Eve and then took a pic of my face to compare. I was so shocked.
The below is Christmas Eve, I'm the fat one on the left:

And there was me saying I wasn't really a writer lol.

Your face looks so much thinner in such a short space of time!!! Well done at keeping at it....6 weeks is very impressive! I wish my sizes dropped as fast as yours seem to! I'm ALMOST properly a 14...jeans just about fit but work trousers don't yet. 14 on top though :)

3lb off this week. Very happy with that. Nearly lost 2 stone (1lb to go). This diet is fab. Just over a stone to go and ill start moving up the steps.
