Hi all I dont know if I am doing this the right way.. lol.. want to create a diary to keep me going and post my losses etc... so here goes... I was on cambridge last year and lost 2 stone In 5 weeks... I then had to give up due to issues etc.. I gained a stone and now im back.. my start weight is 13.8 im around 5ft6 to 5ft7.. I am doing ss.. just completed day 2.. hungry tired and extreme headaches... but trying not to give up... a lot of people on here that are inspiring and truly motivating me.. I have a little princess she is two years old.. my huby owns a restaurant and doesnt get home up until around 1am - 2am... I wait up as we have just recently got our home n im still scared haha.. so I have been having last shake at 10.30pm so by midnight im starving!... so thats all about me.. I am going on holiday in may.. end of may... and then I have my cousins wedding in july... so need to get this weight off... bedtime now...
Ps I get weighed on Saturday will post my loss xx

Hi there,

I've just started day 3 of SS we should be buddies :)
Finding it ok, so far. Had mild headaches but touch wood nothing a pain killer hasn't cured. Extreme dry mouth this morning though. Yuk! Been drinking plenty of water but no much help.

I weigh on Friday, will keep you posted. Look forward to hearing how you have done too.

Ps I'm 5ft 7 my starting weight was 14st 13
This is my first time doing CD, any tips appreciated :)

Heyyy... and yes hun defo can buddy up lol... I am on day 3 also today but I get weighed saturday lunchtime.. and oh my god as for headaches. . Mine r so bad but I havent taken any painkillers for past two days so I might take some today and see if it helps... I have been on cambridge and found I had a better loss with drinking more water... my minimum is 4 litres even though I never liked water lol... and yes I have the fury tongue lol! Im just so hungry n wanna give up.. but I know I can do it... just need to stay strong :rolleyes:

Ok so day 3 done and dusted! Feeling ok but hungry... headaches are still with me.. drinking 4 litres of water but not helping the headaches.. just hoping that after this week it gets easier.... made my husband some chicken spring rolls when he got in.. omg!!!! Lol... but resisted... anyway bedtime now... and 4 days to go to weigh in!!! One week at a time eh ;)

Day 4 and god almighty im struggling...! Im not hungry but huby has day off so cooking chicken curry etc and si badly wanted to eat! Called my wonderful consultant and ahe gave me hope lol... and a little chat with her has made me feel stronger... lets see how the rest of the night plans out... x

The first week or so is sooo difficult but you'll be amazed how quickly it becomes second nature. I am so used to my routine of making my shakes/soups or chopping up my bars lol and I have accepted the fact that eating conventional food is just not an option for me at the moment. As soon as I started thinking like that it made every day easier.

Just keep focused and believe me you will start finding it so much easier next week, when all the really crappy side effects start to wear off and you start dropping some serious weight! Paracetamol is your friend!

my advice is to experiment with products and flavours, I've now started to rotate products ie buy shakes only one week, which makes me crave the soups, so then I 'treat myself' to a few soups the following week, same with bars etc as it makes me WANT to eat the Cambridge products! And tbh, I really like every product except for the tomato soup lol so I have that luxury of mixing it up as much as I want to.

i reeeeally recommend the water flavourings as I'm not a huge fan of plain water. They're expensive but worth it. You can also make jelly with them which is a lovely calorie free treat!

Let us know how you get on with weigh ins etc! All in this together x

Try brushing your your teeth when cooking, or if you're desperate chew some super strong gum for a minute or two, I find this helps to subdue my cravings when cooking for hubby or little one x

Heyyyy... wowzer... lol... im on about ur reply... means the world to me... especially as im feeling so rubbish today... I totally understand what ur saying and I think its mind over matter... I cant wait for it to become easier and second nature because right now im dreading my days lol.. also the problem I have is I only like choc mint! So annoying and boring... I have a stack of lemon bars for my emergency treat lol if I really need a nibble... I might get some flavour for water just for jelly lol any treat will do right now... get weighed Saturday.... just want it to not b so hard lol... but im sure its difficult for everyone... but people like u n others on minimins really make it that bit easier to get through... so how long have u been on cwp and what loss have u had... r u on ss? Xxx

And funny u say that lol... I just had some gum whilst cooking... then made me feel a little hungry so I got rid lol... also being asian and cookong curry like nearly 3 pr 4 times a week if not more doesn't help lol... x

Ok so day 5... omg! What can I say apart from nightmare lol.. so my dad came to visit this afternoon so I was cooking chicken spinach curry with chappatis and kebabs for starters! So whilst dad and huby had that I had my shake and water.... and then to top it all up dad left arpund 2pm and mum calls to say she is popping over with my siblings around 7! Cant wait to see them but more food! So then I start cooking again... this time round made pilau rice with peas and chicken potatoe curry and then to finish off they had shop bought rasmalai and eclairs for the sweet tooth lol! I am so proud of myself for resisting all this food today... even though I had everyone in my ear and saying oh just have a little... and usually I would b like ok then il have some... but today I said NO! And instead I had my shake some green tea n water... head aches have calmed down and was so busy today that time just flew by! I hope I can keep this up and my will power doesnt weaken. .. if that makes sense lol... bedtime now... x

Don't right yourself off yet! The baked potato sounds delish and I'm sure you enjoyed it at the time so if you felt satisfied at the time it's not too bad. Don't beat yourself up about it. Draw a line underneath today and you'll be back on track tomorrow. You CAN do this. Believe in yourself!

Thanks poko lol... but seriously I just feel so crap! And I do not wanna get weighed on saturday... im absolutely dreading it... im starting to question if there's something wrong with me lol... I just cant believe after yesterday when I cooked ao much nice food I didnt eat so y the hell did I eat today? Thanks for ur supporting message... means alot and yea ur right if I get back on thats the main thing... just wanted a good loss this week... but nothing I can do about it now... how are u? How long u been on cwp?? X

Exactly - you've ate it and you can't uneat it so you just need to move on and focus on tomorrow. The weigh in is based on the whole week which means you'll have 6 days of Cambridge under your belt so I am sure there will be a difference in the scales!

I'm coming to the end of day 9. Today has been the hardest because it was my day off and I spent it counting down the minutes to the next time I get to have a shake! Although I have managed to drink 4 litres of water today! :) which is a HUGE achievement for me - a self confessed water hater!

Ok so had my weigh in today... was absolutely dreading it after my hiccup on day 6... lost 10lb... so happy that im in the 12s now... week 2 here I come hahah x

Amazing! That baked potato didn't do too much damage then! Now you know what great results you can get if you stick to it so I'm sure you will! Well done! :)
