    Holls weight loss diary!

    Hello

    So i don't really know where to start haha, thought this would be good for when i'm struggling or just to have a rant on.

    I'm 21 and over the past 5 years i've put over 5 stone on. (Since being in a relationship, love eh!) I got back from Magaluf on Tuesday and decided enough is enough and I have to do something about my weight. Seeing everyone wondering around in next to nothing really made me wanna change and enjoy my youth! I wanna be able to shop in normal shops instead of having to order everything off asos curve, and be able to wear a t-shirt without having to have something over it to cover my hideous huge arms!!

    I've always struggled with my weight but it's time to do something about it and start to like myself again! So today, I started CD. Lets do this! Bye fat.

    Hello Holly

    I am the same, although I am older then you. I did Cambridge a few years ago and lost 39lbs, but I have put it all back on plus more . I look terrible. I am starting back on Cambridge the week after next and I HAVE to do this. I have always been overweight and it was great being able to buy clothes in a size 12, and even some of those would hang off me but not anymore!! What have you started on? How have you found your first day?

    oh wow, you did amazing losing that much! proves you can do it again! you can do it

    i'm struggling today! yesterday i had 2 shakes and a rice pudding (not too nice) but found it surprisingly easy and today i've had a porridge and shake so far! but all i want is to go to the pub or eat!! i know its all in my mind which is even more annoying! x

    I totally agree with you when you say its all in the mind. The first few days are the worse, but once that passes your body gets used to not having food. You must make sure you drink loads of water, that is the key - Looooooaaaaads of water! In my first week when I started years ago I lost 9lbs. I couldn't believe it. Because of health reasons, i couldn't start on ss. I can't remember how many shakes I had a day but I also had the low cal meal and still managed to loose. See the results at your first weigh in and that will encourage you so much and all the compliments that come with it. Maybe we could support each other .

    yup, lots of water! the toilet is my new best bud! think it will be easier when i'm back at work and busy, first weigh in thursday so counting down the days already.

    oh thats great that you still lost that much with a meal, yeah would to have someone to talk to who's going through the same! good luck on your journey btw

    haha nope, still going strong! being at my grandmas while everyone is having sunday dinner is todays hurdle. already had the 'why don't you just eat a little bit, it's not healthy not eating' lecture off her

    Heh ladies hope you don't mind be also commenting.
    I have started on SS today and my god do I feel hungry! Had my 3 shakes and feel like ill eat one of the kids before the night is out!
    Please tell me it's gets easier as the days go on x

    Hi Jenna!

    Drink lots and lots of water and keep yourself distracted, that helps me feel fuller and takes my mind of it. I'm on day 4 now 100% so fair and it is getting easier i suppose, most of it is in your mind. When i wanna eat i remember why i'm doing it! Try spreading your shakes out a bit more tomorrow? I normally have one around 10/11 the other 3ish and my final one around 6/7. If you do really need to eat though pick something that wont effect you getting into ketosis, my consultant suggested tuna (in water or brine), eggs and iceberg lettuce. Try keep it simple or you'll be tempted to stuff your face

    Thanks for replying holly! Every time I think I'm hungry I log on here and read everyone's stories! Found it hard doing the kiddies their teas, usually I'd be picking at the left overs but proudly scrapped them in the bin. I just want next Monday to be here to make it worth it x

    That's what i do! Haha, if you have ********* i look at all the transformation pictures on there too. Gets you motivated. Long way to go but we can do it x

You can all do it, and it does get easier...the hunger side of things tapers off after 4/5 days (although at days 9,10 and 11 I suddenly became ravenous again!) after that it's just a mental battle.....social situations, battling the comfort eating scenarios that sort of thing! X
    Week 1 : -10.lbs
    Week 2 : - 6lbs (One stone)
    Week 3 : - 4.5lbs
    Week 4: - 3lbs (14.5 inches gone!)
    Week 5: - 4lbs
    Week 6: -4lbs (Two stone)
    Week 7: -2.5lbs

    Week 8: + 4lbs ( two days off plan)
    Week 9: - 8.5lbs!!!!!! (Another 8 inches lost)
    Week 10: -4lbs ( Three stone)
    Week 11: - 3lbs

    Week 12: -1.5lbs

    Mini goal 1- Lose one stone - ACHIEVED

    Mini goal 2- Last longer than four weeks -ACHIEVED
