    Hello world

    I am back after falling off the slimming word wagon ages ago and never managing to get back on it. I have had some success with VLCDs before and lost about a stone - I gave up after three weeks though. This time I am sticking with it to goal. Speaking of which....

    Goody's Goal

    • To wear the 75 % of my wardrobe that no longer fits me! I have lots of beautiful clothes that have not fitted since I got married two years ago. This means I need to lose 3 stone. I am not unrealistic I know I can maintain that weight as I did it for years. A happy healthy size 12 - 14.


    Mini goals:


    • Lose 7lbs
    • Get into the 14 stone bracket
    • Get to 13 st 7lbs
    • Get to 13st


    Am currently on Day 6 - first weigh in tomorrow. Been doing SS+/ 810 Not feeling hungry as am well in ketosis but am missing eating! God I love eating.....that is how I ended up this way ! Ha!
    I am going to write instead of eat though. Hope to be at goal (or near as damnit) in 10 weeks in time for a friend's wedding.

    Quick word to report a win. Had friends to stay last night and they all had curry whilst I had my shake. The whole "not being hungry" thing about ketosis is really helping with the will power. Long may it continue. 1st weigh-in tonight, bit pissed off as also TOM so loss will not be as big as i feel i deserve. Boo hoo. Hopefully means next week's will be a stonker. Hope everyone is feeling strong. Remember it is onlya few weeks/months out of your lives. Stick with it!

    So got weighed and have lost 7lbs. Happy with that as was only expecting 4. Had a lovely salad with a finest burger to celebrate. So have had an 810 day. Lovely. Planning on doing one of those a week to make things bearable. Hope everyone else is getting on ok. Am feeling really positive. Holding that thought ladies!!!

    Am still in the zone. Have had 3 shakes and may have a pot of cottage cheese whilst I watch Orange is the new Black tonight.     Only day 8 so still a way to go. I should probably add that I have never stuck to a plan for longer than two weeks! I reckon I am going to do ss+ / 810 for 6 weeks and see where I am. I really want the weight to stay off this time so need to plan the attack carefully and this time I am going to do the stabilisation phase and work back up the steps to normal healthy eating. I have got that holiday/wedding up north at the end of Sept and we are renting a holiday cottage for 5 days so I need to be able to stay in control but be out of kotosis is because I will be having a drink!!

    Also being off the sugar/carbs has made me realise what I knew already but either didn't care about or want to really admit, I am a total food slave and taking it out of the equation totally (apart from the odd but of protein and salad) has made me realise I CAN deal with life without it. I don't have to eat when I am bored or upset - I WILL NOT DIE WITHOUT A BISCUIT. It is just a bloody biscuit!! Ramble ramble but writing all this is apparently going to help sort out this addiction I have once and for all!!

    Hi I'm also only week two, I'm ss'ing and I only lost 7lbs as tom also, so like you I'm hoping for another good loss next weigh in. Got a hard weekend coming up, having a massive family bbq and really gonna try to stick to just my shake. Good luck ladies xxx
