The first day of the rest of my life

Today I started sole source and tbf I'm doing better than expected. I'm petrified of cheating and falling off the band wagon and would appreciate support, stories and maybe some top tips on what to do with shakes.
Today is the start to a happier healthier me, a new lease of life although I'm only 19 I do not want my weight to steal my young years whilst I still have them!

    Happy slimming!!

Hiya! I'm on day 11, I got weighed Tuesday and I lost a stone in a week.

I've resisted takeaways, junk food and I even prepared my daughters buffet for her party Tuesday and successfully got through the party without eating a single thing.

You sound like an all or nothing girl like me, I'm in the zone right now , and every time I feel a tiny bit tempted by anything , I down some water and keep in my head the bigger picture. I've successfully gotten to my ideal weight before and let me tell you , it's an amazing feeling that lasts longer than any food!

Good luck on your journey x

A stone in a week!? That's incredible!! I feel like I've had a better day today also. I get weighed Wednesday and I'm already itching to know my result!
Well done you for getting through the buffet! I would have been picking ha! I'm staying strong minded, I'm a support worker and help cook with the people I work for and trust me dishing up that crumble last night was torture, but I didn't even lick the spoon! Also armed with breath freshener because I'm too paranoid!!
Good luck with your journey and congrats again on that amazing first week weight loss!!

I'm a community care worker and I'm forever cooking for my service users, it was hard at first but now it doesn't bother me at all.

Thank you, I wasn't expecting that loss but I'm up and down like a headless chicken 7 days a week normally so I think that helped lol. I have a day off today and my tired body needs it.

    How are you getting on?

Aw bless you! I've been working all week and got Monday off! Today hasn't been to bad, had a mango shake for breakfast, wasn't a fan of the smell or the fact it's repeating on me! So far how has your journey been? My other half has just come up the stairs with a bowl of ravioli oh god smells good!!

    Hi Beth

How are you finding it? I started again today and would like to lose 2-2.5 stone. I'm dreading having to cook for my son but going to do it in batches and freeze it - good job he is at nursery a few days as it must be so hard to serve an apple crumble without a spoonful! Well done you!

Hi Carly, I'm finding it okay, I'm on day 5 now with my weigh in on Wednesday keeping me motivated! I found it difficult at first being around food especially at work but I've kind of got over it now, just keeping every positive thoughts I can in mind! How have you found day one?
