    hoping to win this never ending battle..

    Hi all im becky im 26 and ive been overweight pretty much my whole life. ive embarked on many diet most with little sucsess. i did lose 2 and a half with slimming world once but i gained it all back :/
    im so fed up with feeling uncomfortable in my own skin and genrially letting myself down.
    i have my conceiltation tomorrow afternoon really excited! hoping its a new start for me
    dreading the weighing abit last time i did was 2 months ago and i was 13.4 lbs probaley alot more now.

    ive heard the pre made milkshakes are alot more nicer? and are the alot more expencesive?

    il report back tomorrow im starting my day with lots of water and 4 mile walk there

    good luck hun, I originally started at 13.11 and am 5ft 6 and got down to 11 stone I have put on 1.5 stone since having my son so just need to shift the excess. If you can stick to it, it will fall off in no time. I find keeping a diary on here and looking at pictures and you tube videos of success stories keeps you on track if you feel less motivated.
    The pre made packs are better if you are out or do not have access at work to a blender. I can only drink the packs if they have been blended so there are no lumps at all. The soups are ok as they are less lumpy. I have found the lemon bars a saviour as last time I couldnt have bars until week 3!

    Well done on your previous losses carly its to be expected to have a gain especially if you've just had a little one. you have done it before so you can certainly do it again

    Well ive managed my first day but boy am I hungry ive decided im gonna have a early night. the family had pizza tonight it did feel abit odd nt having any but im glad ive made it through day 1

    I got myself weighed today and surprising im the same as I was 2 months ago I thought id gained my stats are 13 stone 2lbs im 5ft 4 and my bmi is 31.5 my goal weight is 9 st 7. I have to say the mint chocolate shake is delicious not so keen on the strawberry though.

    Hi flicg I would love to have a weight loss buddy! I do struggle with diets we can keep eachover accountable let me know how u get on monday

    Well day 2 complete and its been hard food just keeps popping in my head

    Niggerling thoughts go on eat something argh but I haven't having another early night just so I stop thinking about food! Probley didn't help that I split three quarters of my last shake but didnt wanna open another or il be short. Looking forward to it getting easier.

    3rd day complete! And its been pretty good ive not been so hungry and not thought about food very much at all. I woke up in a great mood dancing around doing the cleaning. Took my bf to the movies to see in betweeners 2 convinced him take a walk there n back with me instead of the car so managed a good hours walk today. I did have a diet coke at the movies but I dont see how it could hurt to much?

    At the beginning of this diet I thought I was abit mad thinking I could do a diet with no food. This morning im feeling really positive maybe I can accomplish this after all its not as hard as I thought. Cant wait till weigh in thursday!

    Day 4 pretty much complete and having a early night today has dragged and had a row with the mr so not in the best of moods. Woke up feeling a little giddy so I think I might be in ketosis abit of a headache but nothing paracetamol couldn't sort. Hope everyones had a good day xo

    Morning!

    Yay - diet buddies. Glad to hear you've stuck with it over the weekend. Had 1/2 of my first shake about an hour ago. Waited until I felt hungry, rather than just eating (which I usually do.) Got porridge for lunch and then going to have a soup for dinner - not sure which yet. I'm feeling ok so far - i'm looking forward to getting this first week under my belt and getting into ketosis. I got given some ketostix which I will use on Weds to give myself a boost (and see if i'm in ketosis) but then I have a colleague's wedding on Saturday night. Hoping that drinking water and not eating will go unnoticed...

    I was told that coke zero is ok, but diet coke is not because of the citric acid in it? The citric acid can knock you out of ketosis, but i'm sure a small one wouldn't have hurt. Well done on walking there (and resisting the popcorn temptation!)

    hey yay on starting today!
    im just on shakes because i try exante before and there soups was gross let me know if there ok as i may try next week
    i feel amazing first 2 days was hard the last 3 days ive not been hungry at all i need to remind myself to drink the shakes.
    ive heard that to about coke zero my local shop dont have them and i have a small bottle of diet coke every day i hope it effect my weight loss to much!
    me and my friend done a picnic fo the kids today and my mate was like u know u wanna eat wasnt botherd at all just had a shake quite proud of myself i dont usally stick to things lol. i had a snicky weigh in this morn 6lb in 5 days not bad hey but not trusting it to proper weigh in.

    Morning Becky!

    Soup was ok last night - spicy tomato. The problem was that you have to make it up with cold water to a paste and then add hot, but not boiling water. Consequently, it was lukewarm. I did feel really full afterwards though which was good!

    I got some porridges too but yesterday's was so watery, it was not overly pleasant - the flavour was good though! I'm looking forward to every meal at the moment because all the flavours are new, it's cool to discover them!

    I've 5 stone to loose to get me to a healthy BMI - this takes me below my goal weigh though. I'm thinking this might not be a bad thing because it gives me a good buffer for the future. I would love to be there by my wedding day next May - that's my willpower when I start to struggle - thinking about looking beautiful and slim in that dress!
