Why am i finding day 8 hard!

I don't know what's wrong with me, I had a great week loosing 7lbs and 5 inches off my waist & that should spur me on for week two. Today (day 8) I feel hopeless, I just want food. I had my first shake this morning and I'm due my next one very soon but I don't feel satisfied. I'm okay with water consumption but I literally feel as if I'm gonna give up today, & I can't! Half a stone in a week is amazing imo. I'm just feeling very frustrated with it ;(

Stick with it! It does get easier I promise. There are lots of reasons you could be feeling hungry - I find my cycle really affects my hunger levels. If you get really depserate have some chicken and veg - that way you have not ruined the diet. Whatever you do avoid the carbs. Remember this is not forever, in the grand scheme of your life it is but a heartbeat! The results are so worth it though and in a month you will hardly recognise yourself. You can do this!

Thank you for your support, I found it really difficult as I helped my service users make a cake this morning! If I'm honest I feel like it's ketosis all over again ha! I just keep picturing myself in a months time, my aim is 1 & a half stone at the end of my first month, I know it's doable! Just so difficult :(
 
Veg has carbs in it. If you want to stay in ketosis, chicken and green leaves only is your best bet.
