Hi all
For those of you that don't know me,this is my 2nd large cambridge weight loss journey. My initial one was in 2010 when i lost nearly 5 stone.Due to a tough 2014 year,I stupidly let my weight get back up to 13.3stone for the first time since 2010:mad:.After doing the Dukan diet for a bit ,I returned to what I know best (Cambridge).I follow ss+/810 (more 810 with less milk and ss+ food sizes/portions).See my signiture for losses

I have not posted for a bit due to leading a crazy life really!,all was going well but then I had a planned 48hours (weekend)of not quite being on plan...few products, few chocs and a carvery:eek:.I know of all the things to have.... a bloody carvery! anyway it just meant that my monday morning weigh in was +1lb,to be honest I was pleased with that really (could have been a lot worse). As i was only a squiggly bit in ketosis the water gain was pretty minimal (phew).Anyway following that...back on track,in the zone no problem what so ever. This monday I lost 4lbs which I was delighted with:D.Onwards and upwards to the half way mark which will be another 5lbs.

Felt great at the weekend when I cleared my wardrobe and put everything that didn't fit me on the "thinner shelf" for now.I don't really have much that fits me but its fine, just makes an easier choice in the morning and I'm not depressed and having hissy fits when nothing is fitting me!At least I know that everything in the wardrobe part fits me for now,and I will try on all my thinner clothes in a months time. The fat clothes (about 10 items) I did go out and buy in May/June are very much on the big side now.

As I get through my shakes,I think my tastebuds are changing,Im trying to use up all my sachets and will probably then go onto just choc tetras (which is by far the easiest option also).Still staying away form bars,I think until I get to half way.

Anyway feeling good! Tummy has defo shrunk;) ,water intake going well:D, and I couldn't care less what people eat in front of me or around me:).Feeling smaller and people are commenting HOORAY FOR CAMBRIDGE DIET!!!!:0clapper::0clapper::party0011::party0011::party0023:

Would love to know how everyone else is getting on,come join me :wavey:

Hey Purpleflower, well done on your loss you've done great :) hopefully next Monday you could get to your half way mark i will have my fingers crossed for u. I have struggled this week but thankfully not caved, I finished my degree and haven't had much luck finding a job yet so spending a lot of time at home which is making me bored but i try to keep busy. This is my first time doin CD and I started on the 4th august weighing 17st 3lbs which was my biggest and I was definitely shocked at how i let myself get so big, i think avoiding mirrors and scales didn't help. Anyway i managed 2 full weeks on CD and lost 13lbs :D but then i caved and had 2 weeks of f the diet and went off the rails. I decided to change consultants due to some issues with my first one and those 2 week cost me 5lbs :cry:which i was gutted about but was not a shock. I restarted on the 5th September and this Friday will be a month which im so excited about as i never thought i would last a month and all together have lost 25lbs :D which is awesome and I feel great and have so much more energy. How are you doing? have you got any big events that you are aiming to lose weight for?

Love all of your positivity, a woman after my own heart :)

Lots of the above is also very similar to me, I lost and gained 6 st but have come back as for me this works !

I'm loving cooking for others and they can eat anything thy like, my desire to get back to where I want to be is far greater than my desire for food when I know I get everything I NEED from my 3 products.

I'm like you again in the fact I'm avoiding the bars, not sure how long for but certainly for the moment as they are too much temptation for me.

Look forward to more posts and updates your journey progresses x x

I can't believe Christmas is so soon! EEK - scary times. I am hoping to be at/nearing target by then!

I love that you've got the wardrobe organised into size sections. I am hoping to do something similar this weekend - it was the plan for last week, but I never got that far! Haha.

Well done so far on getting back to it, and getting organised. I have 5 bars a week at the moment as I find them really handy for work. So far, not caused any problems - will cut them out if I do...seem to have a load of soups left this week...not looking forward to the veg one i've been putting off! (really liked it a month ago, can't stand it now!)

I'm going to start taking soups to work for a warm up drink. The weather is starting to turn and they can be a lovely warm up when needed ;) My friend Mr scales brought good news this morning in the form of the 11's! Weighed 11.12 hooray ! Have a weekend away coming up so will probably eat out once but should be ok. Fingers crossed. All products will be going with me and I have highlighted this to the people we stay with

Well done purple flower a great start :) it's great when the motivation kicks in! Makes the plan so much easier when your in a positive frame of mind.

I'm a re re re re restarter. Had one good time at LL sticking to just packs and lost 5st in 4 months (stayed on plan over Christmas as well!)

This time I'm doing camebridge step 3 as I'm exercising as well. Have a fair bit to loose but determined this will be the last time!

Hi Purple , hope you are well , love reading your story , and your positivity. Ive been on plan for 53 days now and am losing the positivity a bit. I need a wee kick up the bum. Im sticking to plan but really bored with it this week. I had a planned week end off last week end and have struggled this week to get it together in my head. Doing all the right things but just miserable. Hope the scales will cheer me up at my weigh in on Wednesday xxx

Good Luck !

Hello all Well a day of buffet food yesterday (planned event ) brought a stay the same weigh verdict this morning. Which I'm fine with ! all my weekend events end in 3 weeks until Xmas so it's just about managing through them Back to me shakes !

Morning :)

A STS is good after any event so well done :)
It's hard going when we have events which we can't get out of but you obviously have willpower so a huge pat on the back x x x

Morning all hope you are all well! Well for the last 48hours have felt bit crap and massive +++, and was surprised by arrival of the time of the month yesterday ;( Anyway still did my mid week weigh this morning to see that I have dropped last weekends buffet 1lb and weighing in at 11-12 So quite happy with that all things considered ;) Onwards and upwards ! Have a great day all

Hi Purpleflower, love reading your journey so far. I'm a returner too. Lost 4 stone last year, gained nearly two back after a gallbladder op. Then lost the 2 stone again this year with S&S, took some time of dieting during the summer but still have 3 more stone to loose so have decided to get back on the bandwagon to attempt to lose at least 2 stone before Christmas. For me the water is the hardest part. I really struggle drinking it, especially when its cold. Good luck for the rest of the week! x

Welcome pink tulip, I see we have many things in common then ....returners and coloured flowers ! Good luck ! I have been making my shakes up with 800ml water as it's the only wAy I would get more water in as I can only drink about 2l a day (straight). It makes meal times bigger and longer , obviously not as tasty though. With tetras I put them in a pint glass and top it up to the top with water. The soups and coffee are the ones that keep you warm!

How is everyone else doing on the cold morning ??

For some reason I decided to weigh myself this morning as felt smaller. Low and behold ....I was! 2lb has disappeared from yesterday's weigh in ! Dam period messing it all up ! Anyway delighted with 11.10....hoping that will be the result for Monday's weigh in.

God, I can't wait until I can see 11st 10lb on the scales! Today, I saw the 12s again which is great for me. Lowest on Dukan was 12st 4lb, so when I reach that weight I will feel really positive! I have a little book where, before I started, I wrote down a series of goals. Ticking them off is my favourite thing!

xx

I love a bit of goal setting !my goals at moment during my eventful month if October is to lose 2lb a week. I'm on target at the mo ;)

I was very proud of myself tonight as i sat next to my husband who was eating gorgeous fish and chips from the chippy.Instead of my cambridge meal (chicken and broccoli) I had a very small patch of fish (no batter) and 2 chips, felt completely in control and that i wasn't deprived.feeling good, bring on a good weigh in !!:)

That's far more control than I think I would have as once I start I sometimes can't stop, massive pat on the back for self control x x

Good morning all!my weekly weigh in confirms a 4.5lbloss this week hooray ! 1.5lbs off the half way mark ;)

I am however away tonight on an event , so hoping to be on my best controlled behaviour

Well done Purple on your awesome loss! Onwards and downwards! x
