Hi everyone!

I've been lurking around the posts for a while now. I started Cambridge the week before Xmas (awful timing!) and took some time off over Xmas. I've been back on track for a little while and lost 1st to date.
My start weight was 12.3 now weighing in at 11.3 last WI but hoping to get down to 9 stone. So 2 to go!
I'm currently on SS+ but some weeks seeing slow losses. Think I'm more likely to cheat on SS as I'm dating someone new at the moment so it's nice to be able to go out and have a small salad!
I love reading some of your diaries and the support is amazing, so I'd like to start my own :)

Hey Rachie,
I think the angle of the photo has something to do with it as I don't feel that much smaller but I'm pleased with how things are going, just slow for me. I seem to only loose around 2-2.5 lbs a week.
How are you doing?
 
Far too harsh on yourself! Photos don't lie u can really tell x what has your consultant said about 2.5 loss? X Iv done a week and lost 6 pounds in first wk x

Well done you! I lost 7 my first week and a few 2 and 3's since then. She said it's because I don't have much to loose. She had 3 stone to loose to take her to 8 1/2 stone and she lost 2 lbs a week so she's not very concerned but it's driving me mad. I'm on SS+ so have considered stepping down but I know I'd be more likely to cheat then
 
Yeh I don't think you see much difference between soul source and soul source+ x I suppose you could look at it like you are losing every week and other diets like slimming world you tend to stay same some weeks x what type of products you having I can't wait to have bars this Friday! X love the mousse x

Yeah that's the outlook I've got. As long as it's coming off I'll keep going but it's hard when I see others loosing 5-6 lbs a week. I'd be at goal so quickly!
The Choc chew bars honestly taste like chocolate bars. Lemon I'm going off of to be honest. Then I have the spag Bol. Haven't tried the mousse yet! I absolutely hated the shakes so I used them up and moved on to bars. Ordered two mint Choc this week for mousse though.
Which ones go well with the mousse? Any tips on making it?
 
Oh my god I have a mousse every day lol x I have it all choc flavours or strawberry it's like angel delight x I just put 150ml of cold water in a jug pour in packed and a scoop of mix a mousse x I have an electric whisk so I use that then pop it in a bowl in the fridge for ten minute by far my fave out of everything I'm a chocoholic! X

Hi Laura sometimes it's worth trying a week at 810 to kick start the old metabolism, I remain in ketosis on 810 maybe something to think about if the scales are slow this week? Keep going Hun xx

That's a good idea Mel. I think I'll have a word with my CDC about it and see if it helps. It's only a week afterall and may help in the long run.

Thanks Mel. Weigh in tomorrow. I'm talking to my lovely consultant about reducing my bars, we think they could be slowing my weight loss. So back to shakes!
 
Hi Laura
Try not to get too disheartened if your losses have slowed a bit! Ive found that the less weight you have to lose then the slower it comes off. I did the diet before 3yrs ago & I never had massive weight losses, 4 the first week then 3 weekly after. I was steady lower & got down to my target. I have to say I didn't use the bars so I've no idea if this will affect you! Persevere, you'll get there. You're looking good in your photos already!!

Thanks for stopping by! Yeah I agree. It does start to really slow. I'd be happy with 3 lbs a week but 2 just doesn't justify what I'm spending on CD. If reducing the bars and trying to tweak a few things doesn't help I'll just accept my fate and persevere!
I'm dating someone new at the moment so really trying to get my confidence up!

Well I did S'S for as long as possible then did the steps. Got to my target which is the same as yours! I've got a wedding dress to fit into to have to get to target! I actually met my future husband not long after I got to target. It's tough doing when being on the diet but it's worth the results for the confidence! I lost my confidence through gaining weight comfort eating after a long term break up a few years ago but the more weight I lost, the better I felt. Annoyed that I'm back to square one but only myself to blame, too much good living....drinking, meals out and all inclusive holidays but could feel myself wanting to hide away again so here I am! Got on fine with last week so just trying to keep going. Enjoying reading everyone's struggles and positivity!!:)
 
Well done Laura, great loss so far.

Im not on CD, I'm on lipotrim but love to look about the whole forum for inspiration. Inspired
