Day 9 and counting!

Hello there,

I started 9 days ago after trying everything else and failing! So decided to give this a go. Im really up and down with it at the moment, I have 4 shakes a day (really not sure on the soups!) and some milk as Im on one of the medical ones cos BMI is high (funny that!)

Are there any challenges, groups or just general chats I can join to keep me motivated.

Hi Rebecca, you're in the right place! This is where most if the cwp chat happens. Just read diaries and jump in where you want. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. x

Thanks guys, had a little wobble at the weekend, but back on track 100% now.
 
So back to day one tomorrow! really don't cope well when I'm at home with the kids. Small bit of their lunch consumed (chicken nuggets), so an sensible person would think - ok that's not to bad, carry on and all will be good. Nope not me! been like a woman possessed! hunting food in the house! thankfully I don't have much unhealthy food around. But still eaten lots! - Feel a bit sick, but that will pass in a minute and i'll be looking for more. Writing this now, hopeing it will stop me!!

Worst case, I will be back on this first thing! I HAVE TO! its costing me money, and I really really want to do this!!!

Sorry for the ramble, I'm starting to wonder if writing it down is going to help me so there may be more of this in the future Sorry!
 
oh, i know its super hard but try have chicken,eggs or fish cos it wont do as much damage. I find having 2/3 shakes a day and 100/200 kals of protein a day ( at the weekends) not to do any harm at all. just try and think of how wonderful you will feel after that cheating phase passes, i was there last night so hungry but just had an extra shakes and a hour letter i was so happy i didn't cheat ;)

i think ive been waiting to long between shakes as worried I'll want one in the evening, so today, I had 3 by 4pm, and my 4th one at 6. Decided that as you said, an extra shake won't hurt! So all good today.

yep best off spacing them out, or use have the powder to mix another shake later?
 
Good Morning World,

Today is day 3!! and I'm still on track. Yay me. Closer to another mini Target! I have continued with the shortened time between shakes and all is good. Back at work today too which is soo much easier than a day with the kids. I feel im on auto and things end up in my mouth! - ive spat a couple of things out today, coz I put them in the stop myself! - Another yay to me.

So last night after putting the little one to be at 7, I must have been to toilet about 10 times before I went to bed at 10! Love it when it suddenly starts coming off!

My scales now put me a pound lighted than CWPC's scales on Wednesday (I don't know the difference between mine and hers) so feeling good about that. hoping to have a couple more before I get weighed officially on Wednesday.

I'm very tempted to tell her not to tell me the loss or what I weigh! might inspire me to keep going! - what do you think?
 
So I got weighed yesterday.

I did it, I asked CWPC not to tell me the loss. I was on the starts of day 5 and I was worried that if she told me something lower than I wanted, I would be uphappy and eat!, on the other had if I had a good loss I end up thinking 'hay I can cheat and still loose!' Soo I didn't look at the scales, I didn't see my card (she kept it!!) soo really hoping I can get to next week with this motivation.

I am at the start of day 6 today and nothing has passed my lips that shouldn't have!

I didn't realised how much of the kiddies food I ate! most of it was what they had left so instead of wasting it I would eat it. I have stopped myself a couple of times with food soo close to my mouth! I decided the waste of money would be my Cambridge fees is I ate this food and that's more!!!

Hows everyone else doing?
 
So Day 6 went without a hitch! I did have to take food out of my mouth at one point (it was habit and I stopped as soon as it went in!! - Yay me!)

I also found myself looking in the fridge a couple of times! - the joys of working from home!

Now on to day 7 and back in the office! I woke up hungry this morning so had my shake first thing 7! normally have it once I get to work (8:30) so worried I'm gonna need one a bit early!

Worst part is I've just been told the team is being taken out for dinner on the company! a local Chinese! - I arranged this a couple of months ago, but now all confirmed - I really don't want to eat, but I cant not go. Any ideas? Im on a medical step, 4 shakes and milk!, meant to be step 2 but didn't want to worry about food. So can I try and find something that could work with that! HELP.

Got to go.. meeting to go to..
 
WOOOHOOO i'm on Day 10! - Never ever thought I would go this long 100% on Plan.

I had a Sneaky Peak at the scales and I'm showing 4 down from almost 2 weeks ago !, I know I did a blind official WI so don't know what I lost last week and this, but 4 over 2 weeks is pants!! its gonna take me forever! Frustrating part, is I feel great, feel like I lost more, so I have asked hubby to hid the scales!! I knida want to throw them but he wants to keep an eye on weight sometimes too!

Another Yay me moment, at the weekend. Parents back from holiday so took the grandkids over!, they all had takeaway! - I had a bar! then roast dinner on sunday and I sat and had my spag bol! :clap::clap:

So I am currently pretesting I haven't seen the scales! and plodding along.

Still panicking about Wednesday! want to take a bar with me, but really cant do that!
 
If it's a Chinese, you could pick a prawn dish in something like soy sauce or ask them to cook it in soy sauce? Avoid the rice obviously!

That's great thanks, hadn't thought of that. Yummy.

I wish I was going with people I could be really fussy with (we I would have changed the place) but its a work thing and I don't want to be really obvious.

I do thanks! But not done yet. I had set my self a target of 11.5 st as I never thought I would get to that. However I am so close now and think I need to go lower ... Perhaps 10.7 but we will see!

So I had the Chinese, I had a plainish chicken starter, which I was stuffed after so only then needed a small main, wasn't on plan, but yay me for not going crazy.

I have since had Sunday off! We had family over and I didn't stick to it at all!! I was fine with it, because it was planned so got straight back on it yesterday and all was good. I felt ill sunday night! so was actually glad to get back on it yesterday! haven't checked the scales which is very very unlike me! also not going to find out my gain/loss on Wednesday as if I'm in the right place I want to stay there. so here's to more 100% on plan days.

ave an anniversary meal out on the 28th April and a Birthday thing on 1st May so 100% till then is my goal!
