Step2 810kcal Mission to slim

I have been reading everyone's diaries and getting inspired so I thought I would start my own.
I am on step 2 and have just begun my week 5. I have so far lost 26lb. My start weight was 19st 3.
This is the second time on this diet for me. 3 years ago I lost 86lb but I didn't follow the steps and over the years put 72lbs back on.
I am currently 17st 5 and would love to lose another 2 stone by the end of June as I have a big night out planned for the 27th. The lowest weight I reached was 14 stone when I did this before so that will be my 2nd target then final target of 12 stone. I'm 5ft 11 so I think this is a weight that will suit my height.
So far it hasn't been to bad, I am not hungry but I have times I really want to eat.
I work in an office and since I started cd I am so aware of what everyone is eating and I think if I can get past the chip smells and seeing all the cakes people bring in then I can reach my targets.

Weight lost so far:
Week 1: - 10lbs
Week 2: - 10lb
Week 3: -2lb
Week 4: -4lb

Total lost: 26lb

Target 1- lose 28lbs to get to 15st 5
Target 2- lose further 19lb to get to 14 stone
Target 3 - lose further 28lb to get to 12 stone

Wow, looking really good so far, well done! :0clapper:

I find it helps me not to think too far ahead - the moment I put targets on anything, it's like a corner of the universe conspires against me, throwing naughty food in my path.

You can do this! One shake at a time, and all that... :D

Thanks Lilly x targets are the only thing keeping me going at the moment.
I'm having a very hungry day today and my nephew came out of school with pizza he had made and I wanted to eat it but I have stayed strong and am cooking my 810 meal now.
I took my dog for a really long walk earlier - he is a bit of a fatty too so will do us both good to get us more exercise! X

Thank you x
Well I'm working 1-9 all weekend alone so I have to ignore the voices telling me to use the vending machine cause 'no one will know'. I have had a bar for breakfast and will take my shakes and my 810 meal with me. Tomorrow I will have completed 5 weeks so I don't want to let myself down now.

Wow, I hope I can do as well as you Morgan. I know what you mean about noticing other people's foods. I was doing a night shift on Wednesday and that was all that I could see! Pizza in one direction, Burritos in another (and I looooove burritos) it was everywhere. Buttt, once you have said 'No thank you' to 10 or so people, you kind of start to feel proud of yourself and like saying it more often! I was not expecting to enjoy turning away food haha. All the best anyway! I look forward to seeing you meet your goals!

:)

I know it's crazy how much people eat. It's strange but it is weirdly satisfying not eating and sticking to plan. I have a chart that I cross off each night to show I have completed another 100% day and I would hate not getting my cross of I cheated! Lol
How long have you been on Cd and do you have much to lose?

That's a good idea actually, I might make a little chart of my own! I currently note down when I have my shakes in a notebook, it seems to help me focus..

I started on Tuesday, well 1st meet with my consultant and weighing etc on Monday Eve, then I decided to have one last pig out on everything that I like before starting Tuesday morning. I'm now on day 5 of ss+, praying to make it to 7.

I wish to lose 2 stone 5 pounds. My initial weight being 12st 11lb, I am aiming to get to 10st 6lb by 13th June (week 12). I actually fly out on holiday the same day! Total coincidence!

I am also tall, at 5'10" so if I am as successful as you have been on this, I ought to be able to get there. Were you on sole source or sole source plus for the first two weeks? And were you exercising? I would love to know how you managed it!

It's good that you have a holiday to aim for, will keep you motivated.
You should get to target by then x
I always do 810 so have 3 products and a small protein meal. Because I have so much to lose the losses are big to begin with. When I did this diet before I averaged at 4lb a week so I hope I can achieve that again this time. I next weigh on Tuesday.
How are you getting on?
I really want to eat today as I am alone so may go to bed soon.

Also the only exercise I have done is walking my dog although I have got Zumba DVDs that I keep saying I will do!

Yeah okay. I'd be happy with 4lb a week too! That's great!

Well I have been having a tough time over the last 24hours to be honest. I was completely on track until about 10pm last night. Felt like **** and had a major emotional lapse over no apparent reason, attempted to contact my consultant (but she is away for the weekend) so... I went crazy on chocolate in the kitchen, consuming God knows how many calories and then proceeded to cry myself to sleep haha. You could say I have issues. I was so upset with myself afterwards, the food wasn't even that nice in comparison to the way I felt having thrown the whole week away. After being so distraught and disappointed in myself yesterday, I woke up today in a slightly better place and decided that one bad day does not mean that I have to come off completely. So have had my maple and pecan porridge (ew) and will be drinking water until 2pm. Sorry to have let the team down lol but it's done now, can't take it back but I assure you I WILL NOT be going there again!

How are you doing Morgan? Will let you know how it affected my weight loss when I get weighed in tomorrow. Hopefully that will be enough to put anyone on here off of cheating - so not worth it!

P.s I haven't done any exercise at all, except walking to the car and back lol. I even put my gym membership on hold as my consultant told me that I was to do no exercise in the first 4 weeks.

Did you do exercise the first time around?

The thing with this diet is that it is so extreme so when we do have a blip we go mad. Don't focus on the blip and think how well you have done. Drink plenty of water and you will flush some out lol. You haven't wasted a week and I'm sure you will still lose.
I'm finding it tough as well, last night I stayed at mums while they are away and the first thing I did was check what food they had! I did resort but only just!

No exercise last time but this time I want to tone my arms as well as I remember skin was quite lose last time. Not terrible but could have been better if u know what I mean x

Don't worry mixed chick. We've all done it at one time or another. It's done and you can move on now. The thing is you now know you didn't feel better after a binge. So what's the point in doing it again? It doesn't help. So lesson learned ... You're back on track now.

Well I am testament to the fact that this is absolutely true! I actually shocked myself haha, didn't eat like that before I started dieting so it was crazy to me. Oh okay, besides weights have you thought about trying firming lotions? I think that the cocoa butter one works great but you should try a few and find one that you like. It will make a difference when beach time comes!

I have a few moisturisers. I like the palmers one, especially improves the appearance of my thighs and bum. I have tried the palmers breast firming lotion but I think mine are beyond help now!! They're literally empty!! TMI?

Haha, there's no such thing as TMI on here!

I have got some coco butter so I will see if it helps.
Your right about no such thing as tmi , at least we can be honest on here. I have had to use dulcolax a couple of times as you really aren't getting enough food to keep you regular!

Have you managed to stay on plan? X
