    104 lbs to lose, could I join pleae??

    Hi all, so I've finally hit my limit, so fed up of the disgust when I look in the mirror, my fiance wants me to plan our wedding for 2014 and I would literally rather die than be a fat bride and most of all an unhealthy mum when the time comes. My other half hasn't seen me without clothes in over 3 years and I want our married life to start on a high. So it's time. I need to get from 237lbs to around 133lbs a weight I havn't been since I was 18. I'm 27 now. Please could I join the group would love to have the support of people going through the same worries, issues, fears. I would love to offer my support if and when needed too. I'm on day 5 of my programme and I ame struggling. I hope to be chatting with you all soon! B xoxoxoxo

    You have nothing to be scared of Hun, you have done the hard part by admitting you are unhappy and wanting to do something about it!

    I am doing slimming world and have finally got in the frame of mind that instead of feeling sorry for myself constantly about how unhappy I am, how I can't shop in normal shops etc I realised that the only person who could do anything was me. It's going to be a long journey but just feel so much better knowing that I am doing something about it.

    Good luck to you and I am sure you can do it, will take time but Ive gotten my head round the fact that it will, I know if its coming off slow and I am not hungry that I am doing it right. What are you struggling with? Am I able to help you?

    Thank you so much supervixwn, Ive just had my 1st weigh in I lost 9lbs 5cm from my wais and 5cm from my hips!!! I'm very happy. I'm not hungry either that makes me able to cope a little better. How have you dealt with the cravings? I'm currently dying for a cheeseburger lol! I know it's not gunna happen but i cannot make it go away!x B

    Just to say good luck. When I started, I didn't believe I'd be nearly 100 lbs lighter within 6 months. I had met some successful Alizonners who had lost 5st and 7 st so I intellectually knew it worked. That's very different from believing as a repeated failure at weight loss that I could do this.

    So I just acted as if I believed.

    And amazingly, by choosing to stay on track repeatedly despite the temptations and celebration events and urges, I now do believe - because I have gone from wearing 26/28s to size 16s and I will almost certainly be size 12 when I have shed the final 2 3/4stones.

    So Lovely Ladies, make the right choices repeatedly, ask for help, advice and support when you need it and acknowledge how ace you are to have decided to take action. Well done. We will get to our targets and then learn how to stay at that fit and healthy weight.

    Good luck ladies! I want to lose 100lbs in the next year. I just turned 29 and had a baby. I have been fat since I was 19/20ish and feel like I've wasted my 20s by being overweight and miserable. I am the heaviest I have ever been and never want to see this weight again! My ultimate motivation is to wear a gorgeous, slinky dress on my 30th birthday. We can do it.
