    Can fruit cause weight gain?

I had lost a lot of weight, but I have put on a stone over the last six months. Thinking back, I think it was when I switched to increasing my fruit intake.

I exercise by a brisk walk 30 mins a day!

I think I may be having too much carbs? But I thought the carbs in fruit would not lead to weight gain?#

The only other thing is that I take Acai tablets - and drink five cups of green tea. Would either of these lead to weight gain? I thought they would help me loose weight?

you should really stick to 5 portions of fruit and or veg a day, fresh orange juice has a lot of sugar in plus your body isnt using the calories to digest like it would with an actual orange

I think it's the sugar hit that juice, dried fruit and processed foods can give you that's unhealthy, regular unprocessed fruit is pretty healthy, so long as you're not binging on it.

Are you eating enough? How many calories do you reckon that is that you're eating?

If you want to eat more fruit/veg, usually it's best to go for the veg. They keep you full, and have less sugars.

    BMI Information:
hiya just jumping in here, since eating low carb diets I am fairly against fruit, especially over vegetables. Of our 5 a day, only 2 portions ideally would be fruit and only 1 of those juice. Dried fruit is also very sugary.
I mean its loads better than any other forms of sugar, dont get me wrong.

oh the whole your diet seems quite high in carbs, I would eat more protein and more vegetables

    Mini Goals:

    *Get back in the zone!
    I think I'm there?!
*Get back under 12 stone by April
*Get under 11 stone by June

*Get under 10 stone before holiday in August and stay there!
*Defeat the demon that made me fat, forever!
