5ish weeks until christmas challenge.

I noticed there was already a longstanding christmas challenge but feel silly joing so late in the game so to speak.

Would anyone like to join me in a mini challenge for christmas?

I am currently in my first week, I weigh on Thursday and would like a stone off for christmas which will also take me into the 19's which sounds a little less scary than the current 20's (almost 21's).

I would love to. I've just signed up today and am starting slimming world tomorrow. I would like to be in the 12s for Christmas :)
 
Yes...I'm at 13.12 (oh the shame!) so would love to drop that...think how much better we'll feel!

I'm at 20.10... oh the shame. I don't believe I have been in the 13's since I was 13!
I am on a low fat diet... kind of calorie counting meets slimming world but low fat as I've been prescribed orlistat by my Dr. I'm really nervous about side effects but I'm only on day 4, did have some tummy cramps but nothing I can't ignore unlike some of the effects I could get :/
I have put on 3-4 stone in the last year or so...since starting my midwifery training! I'm guess I'm a stress eater but night shifts and shift work in general hasn't helped.

Well done on the amazing loss!

It was my first week so no loss as such...I've got two meals out this week which I'm worried about but now have two days on plan under my belt! And I ran three times this week so far so I'm pleased :) tomorrow I have no excuse for straying but on Sat I'm out for a posh meal, so I'm going to be syn free during the day and for the evening my goal is to eat slowly, savour and leave something on my plate.
 
Hi, I'll join in too, if I may? I've been following Slimming World for five weeks and joined here at the weekend. I set myself an initial target of losing a stone and a half by Christmas and I've lost 8lbs so far, so that leaves me 13lbs to go, which would see me deep into the 15s and hopefully well in the groove to keep going in 2015 :)
 
Well done on the running target140 and good luck with the meals. I'm dreading having to go out to eat. Was hard enough finding something at the hospital canteen this week!

Hello! You've done well - well done! What's been the hardest bit for you so far?

Thanks and hello to you too, and well done with your running :) I can't think of anything that's been hard so far, to be honest. I've known for ages that I need to lose weight as it kept creeping up, but last month I suddenly decided to do something about it, joined SW, and haven't looked back. I'm sure there will be some challenges ahead but so far I'm loving the recipes, my family are all supportive and also enjoying the food, and it's been great to see (and feel!) the weight coming off. I need to increase my exercise and hopefully that will help in future.

How is everyone doing?
I'm currently avoiding starting my essay... procrastination is not good but I will be starting shortly.... I WILL (hoping if I tell myself enough I may find motivation!)
 
I'm so good at procrastination!!!

I'm happy because I went for a run and really pushed myself, and I've run four times this week which is the first time I've done that in nearly a year. So finally feel like I'm getting back on track!

Well done you. I can't do the whole running thing... combination of large breasts and fear of black eyes...
