A Warm And Fuzzy Moment

:D I just had to add this thread because I'm sitting here with a wide grin on my face.:D

I bought my son and daughter an MP3 each as a sort of extra easter pressie (they were a bargain at £5 each in Asda!) Anyway, Chris has just been sitting on the sofa listening to his and started humming ever so quietly and ever so slightly out of tune!!:D :D Such a sweet moment and we don't get many of those that's why I thought I'd share it:D

AWWW my youngest is always doing that, headphones on and singing at the top of his voice, though must add he has a pretty good voice. ...thankfully...lol.

Yeah Sonkie, Chris and Amy are both blessed with good voices thankfully!!! It just sounds so funny when they have headphones on doesn't it?:D

Amy spent all day singing Barbie Girl 'cos that's the song that was already loaded onto the mp3 lol:D

A friend of mine has a book she writes all these lovely little memories down in and she has one for each of her girls.

I always meant to do it back years ago for Pierce, but sorry to say I put it on the long finger and never got round to doing it.

It is nice to have lovely fond memories to look back on, they act a shock absorber for the soul.

Love Mini xxx

Awww I wish I'd thought of doing that too Mini! It must be lovely for her to be able to read through those books with her girls:D

You're right though, life does seem to be so busy for youngsters compared to when I was a child. I try not to wish their lives away too much as before we know it they're grown up and making us feel old! lol:D

Chris said that he's only got about 7 weeks left in this school year then he's going to be in year 9!!!  My first baby's growing so quickly!:D

Hi Carol my eldest is in the same year as your son, he too will be in year 9 .......omg that sounds so scary. Where does the time go...?
What I do when the kids are doing something funny is to sneak the camcorder into the room and leave it somewhere they cant notice it and get it all on tape, then we all watch it back.....so sweet.

Aww Sonkie, that's lovely being able to record them:D We haven't got a camcorder (never been able to afford one:( ) I have been able to record short bursts on the digital camera but nothing of any significance as Chris usually has it hidden away in his room recording himself on his ps2 for Youtube! hehe! And yes that's all he does (he's a bit naive - for now!)
