Help cooking a chicken!!!!
Ok, so yes, I have cooked chickens numerous times - but never in a slow cooker! Iv been googling on what to do and I'm finding all different information! So can someone help please!
I have a whole chicken, do I add water or not, how long do I put it on for (my slow cooker has low/med/high settings) is it ok to put in before I go bed and leave it overnight? The thought of the chicken 'falling off the bone' sounds a bit icky, is this what happens? Is there any way of getting it out whole? Is there a lot of fat juice?
I do use my slow cooker all the time, but never for a whole chicken, I just fancied a change from cooking in the oven! Thanks
