Anyone make their own yoghurt? If so, could you let me know what yoghurt maker you have and/or recipes you use please.
Thanks![]()
Hi DQ
I do, but I sort of cheat as it's the EasiYo yogurt, which I bought from Julian Graves & you can also get from Lakeland. It's dead easy, you buy sachets, in a variety of flavours, just add to cold water, place in a large container filled with hot water and leave overnight. Really nice yogurt and full of all the good things yog's are meant to be full of. The biggest difference between home made & shop bought yogurt is the age of it, all the good bacteria is less effective as the yogurt gets older and some shop bought yog's can be weeks old when you get it, compared to just made by yourself. EasiYo comes in all sorts of flavours, sweetened or unsweetened, normal or lower fat varieties, so it suits all really.
Do I get my commission cheque now Mr EasiYo????![]()
I like the plain or greek unsweetend ones, and add a spoonful of seeds & mixed fruit - yummy.

Joan Baez
to make yoghurt
1 pt milk boiled or sterilized and cooled to blood temperature
3 tsp fresh natural yoghurt (bought or homemade)
whisk together warm milk and yoghurt
Place in a warmed thermos food flask leave overnight.
Or put in a jar/tub with lid and put in the airing cupboard overnight.
If you leave it longer it's possible to put it in a peice of muslin and hang up to drip what you are left with is like cream cheese!!
Lemon yoghurt this is so yummy
1/2 pt natural yoghut
1 tablespoon desicated coconut or coconut cream
1 tsp sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2oz raisins
little grated lemon rind.
Mix all ingredients together and chill. Let stand for at least an hour to allow flavours to develop.

Is this one of those smutty/innocent questions
I am not falling for it DQ
