    go for it....

I joined in June (9th) and lost 1.5 stone before my hols (24th July) with sensible eating and curves, still had alcohol & takeaways.... put 7lbs back on on holidays and resumed on the 10th August.....now lost the 7lbs plus 2 more. I have had my "smart curves" class and you really feel the difference, been 3 times this week and I will be going today & tomorrow. It is great if you need a boost, I feel fantastic afterwards... hope to lose 1 stone by my birthday at end of September then another by Christmas.... watch this space

Oh and the 6 weeks for £39 is on until end of August so what have you got to lose (apart from weight) ;-) xx

Thanks Sally. I had intended to go this week, but food poisoning struck. I think I am on the mend though, and shall give it a go on Monday after work. You are right, nothing to lose but a big fat bum !!

Had my first curves session today - I have two stone (initially) to lose after having dd but might go for another 7lbs after that - depends on what I look like. Loved it - it's definitely not for posers - there were women from all different ages and abilities there today.

I found a couple of the machines quite easy but I have very good strength - I can't wait until next week when I do my strength test thing and go onto smart curves - they told me that gives you a much better workout and really helps the weight come off.

I'm going to do the weight management thing too.

Not following the weight management plan yet, but I've been going to the sessions (30 mins x 3 times a week) and although I've only done it twice I feel great!! I have alot to lose so I am looking for some support. Wish me luck please

    Good luck Tiggertoes!

I joined Curves just last Monday and am really feeling motivated and excited...I really hope this will work for me. I'm still getting used to the machines and setting a pace for myself so I'm sure it might take me a little while before I see results.

It's encouraging to know other women have had good experiences with them and get results.

I asked about the weight management classes there also. there is one starting next month which I am considering joining. I'm not really good at sticking to a diet at all and I know I need to change my eating habits so I guess I'm a little uncertain if I will find it helpful.

Has anyone had any experience of attending those classes?

    Hello Dhanne,

Thanks for your support. How is the workout going?

I've been trying hard to go for the past three weeks. And so far I've missed only 2 days (sticking to the 3 day a week routine)

I did walk alot and been keeping active alot more than usual on my "off" days. Not seen a huge difference so far but I am starting to feel tighter in areas. My stomach and arms and legs seem to be getting slightly firmer. And I am sore.. All over.. But its totally rewarding.

My club is also really great, the manager there Alex is so lovely and all the staff are really down to earth and friendly and helpful. I feel so confortable and I can definitely see myself there for many moons to come.

I've also decided to help the diet along, by going on the Exante diet. I am starting next week Monday. I have so much to loose and I feel like I might get demotivated if I don't do something with dramatic results. I am already going to the gym now, and I have already got my mind set right, so now I need to see the pounds shift off.

Let me know how it goes. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

    Tigger.

    Hi
I've joined curves yesterday and must say it seems very simple and everyone was really nice. I'm holding out high hopes for it.
