let's understand diabetes and reverse it!
Let’s imagine an unhealthy, high fat diet. We already know what happens when we are on a high fat diet. Sugar and fat form a friendship arm in arm, unable for the two of them to fit through the blood vessels resulting in stacking in the bloodstream. With all the sugar having a fest with the fat in our blood doesn’t make us happy. Not because we are against parties but because we have all the possibilities to become diabetes or have a high level of Candida. Very tricky guys, called insulin come along and show the sugars the secret doors (insulin receptor), through which they can leave the bloodstream.
Careful with high blood sugar though when the bloodstream has too much fat! Why is too much fat dangerous? Fat forms a thin coating on the blood vessel walls (closing the secret doors), on the sugar molecules, on the insulin. No matter how much insulin the pancreas would produce, they would struggle to take the sugar through the insulin receptors out of the bloodstream because of the fat coatings they have to deal with.
In case of continuously having lots of fat in our blood coating the sugars, the pancreas has a high order of insulin. It works night and day, weekday, weekend and one day like an overused underpaid worker it says it had enough and starts to work lazy against all the orders. Now comes the manager (the adrenaline) and makes the exhausted pancreas work harder to produce more insulin. Everyone is sending a request to the owner not to consume high fat but in most cases the request is denied.
The solution is to eat a low fat, fruit based diet where sugar can easily go in and out of the bloodstream without the need of insulin never resulting in high blood sugar. We mustn’t forget to eat the fruits in a whole form with their fibers, as their fibers controls sugar absorption avoiding high peak. And of course that fruits work only with a LOW FAT diet!!!
Be aware the fact that whether we eat fruits with fats or in our next meal separate from fats it doesn’t make a difference as fat hangs around for a longer time while sugar from fruits are absorbed easily giving plenty of time for the sugar to catch up with the fat to form a good couple and stay in the bloodstream for a good party. If you eat a high fat meal its fat will linger in your blood for hours. And if you eat constantly high fat meals your blood will always be high in fat even if you skip fat now or then from your meal since you will have still enough fats in your blood to last even till the second meal.
I simply say eat not more than 10% fat and you won’t be in a big trouble even if you happen to miss timing a bit. You jump into water you get wet, you eat more than 10% fat you get into trouble, end of story.
