After some time I've realised that the diary is not for whether others read it, it's for me to write my stuff so that's what I'm doing! If you read along with me I'll be glad but if you don't then I'm happy too!!
So my first post on this diary is this: thank you all for supporting me with my hideous relationship and I am really trying to end it. Call me a wimp, I will understand.
Second, what has happened to my body since being on a 2-day break from ss that has turned into 8 days. I have gained on the scales that is a fact. I'm up almost 6lbs. BUT for anyone who is slave to the scales like me, I have good news. The jeans I wore before this "break" were a bit tight and now they are practically falling off me!! The weight has shifted in a way I didn't anticipate so do not dispair if you gain a pound or two! It's OK!!

WOW -- You've done really well. Are using Sole Source? Also, your location says in EU... are able to get the UK products over there (do you have a CWPC)?
You're current weight is close to my start weight when I did LL in 2008 (about 188 lbs when I started). I got to my goal weight (even a bit below) and stayed there for awhile. But, once I slacked off on my exercise I started to regain... about 2 or so pounds a month. I yoyo'd for most of 2010, then got serious in 2011 (and went on CD with a CWPC and weekly weighing), used Judith Beck's book, and started working ot 3 times a week. I lost enough to get back to a bmi of 25, maintained that... then instead of pushing on to lose to the last 1/2 stone... I slacked off and started a regain. I am now trying to get back into a weight loss/fitness programme to relose the stone that regained, plus the 1/2 stone that I did not lose the last time.
However, I will give myself credit... because I did not regain all of my losses (over 1/2 though) before I "got serious", and I have not regained what I lost this year. So, let's hope that I can follow you on your big journey (which you are doing so well) and find some inspiration in your successes and commitment. My best to you!

1) Show a loss with My May 2013 Restart
2) Exercise 3 times a week
3) Get under 160
4) Get under 2012 lowest weight (156)
5) Get under 11 stone
6) Get under 150 lbs (10 st 10)
7) Get into first pair of Goal Jeans (next size down = US 10 with some give)
8) Get to bmi of 25 (10 st 5)
9) Manage a STS whilst on holiday in August
10) Get under 10 stone (140)
11) Get to top of target range 9st 12 (138)
12) Get to goal weight 133 (9 st 7)
13) Get into Goal Jeans (and NEVER gain out of them!)

When you have been in ketosis and start to eat again, you will not only add back in the 4 ish pounds of fat stored in your liver, but extra water -- so a 7 to 8 pound regain is inevitable. But, then if you stayed Low Cal, Low Carb, etc. You should start to lose again... and it would be stored fat, not the liver's glycogen.

Minnie thanks! I know, what I was hoping for was that after almost 20 weeks of ssing I'd have a few days off (we had a grape harvest fest thing last weekend) and it has really turned into 8 days off. But I can just say that I'm not upset by this at all. I did not go on any sort of binge and I actually stayed away from all the carbs (can I say I didn't even crave them!)
I renewed some friendships I cut off before because of my self-esteem (I mean lack thereof) and I am happier than I've been in years. Now just to leave this relationship...
Yes, I'm in eastern Europe but I am able to get all the UK products so that's not a problem. The CDC is a problem tho, but I'm hoping that after another 4 or so weeks I'll be leaving cambridge and just doing my own thing!![]()

Hi Illa and CG --
I just noticed that we are all 5'4" -- but WOW does Illa plan to be thin! 121 pounds is very lean on me. I would be very, very happy at 130... and 133 is my ideal, but I think I can live with and maintain 138 (but I am not so young).
Illa you have done well, also. Congrats on the 40 pounds off!

I know, it's awesome! I'm just not sure with my height - ***** how do you measure?? I have the feeling I've shrunk over the years but maybe not. I just think I can't measure alone.
Also, I've adjusted my goal - I wanted something like 125 or so but I think that for me that's maybe too thin. I like a bit of meat![]()
Minniemel this was my weight before pregnancies, the one I kept for quite a while. I did not think it was that thin at the time. I had quite nice boobs and definitely bulky legsI was just proud of my waist
However I need to be 140 to have a healthy BMI and from then I will manage and see how I feel in my body. I'm not 25 anymore. I might decide that some value between 121 and 140 will be ok. I don't know yet. My mind has also switched from losing weight to losing fat so that might also change the final result on the scale. Good luck on your journey too
PS also I think I might be something between 5.3 and 5.4![]()

I like the Nerys and India quote: Sometime after the age of 40 a woman has to choose between her arse and her face!
When I got to goal and then as low as 128 -- I was starting to look ill (and a lot older).
Illa -- I totally get what you are saying. When I was 20 if I weighed 125 I was fat. After my son I adjusted up to 128 as being okay. After I lost the weight I carried from moving to the UK and suffering from SAD (I carried an extra 40 plus pounds... yoyoing for 13 years and had another child) -- I was over 40 and realised that I loved getting to what I weighed when I got off the plane in the UK (133) -- but 138 might be more easily maintained. I'll have to see how it goes when I get back there.

I am so glad to have you both here! I love it! Thank you, we are the people our parents warned us about so it's good to have each other![]()
I am serious about my goal weight, I know that thinking I'd be happy at 120 or 125 is just wrong at my age (48) but I know I'd be happy at 140 - that's when I fit into a normal size 10 and that is actually an awsome number, is it not???![]()

Thanks babe, I also think 140 is a good number.
You are fantastic minnieand thanks Illa for all your support that you've given, you know what I mean!
OK my darlings, here is my thought at the moment: I am a person, a good person, whether or not someone else thinks so (the bf) I actually cleaned up around the house which I never did before because I didn't care. Everything is tip top,
I am not even making an effort - it just happens! I care about me! Is that just the cat's pajamas!!
