Right, time for a diary methinks, especially as I'm sitting here a bit low after the scales showed a gain - GRRR!

ATTACK - 10 days done, 7lbs gone, felt great and highly motivated!

CRUISE - today is day 3 and my second PV day on a pattern of 1/1. I've put on one pound this morning which feels horrid but I know I've followed the plan to the letter, so it must be a blip, right?

Plan is to get my substantial ass back to the gym today and show those blooming scales what for!

your body is most likely grabbing onto every morsel it can keep and storing the calories after such a long attack period hense why its not advisable to do longer than the period required by the questionaire on the offical site

Good luck Pauline x

Just keep at it Pauline, show those scales who is boss :D

2lb that's the way to do it Pauline, great loss that itsy bitsy teny winy yellow polcadot bikini is just waiting for you lol hahaha(wish I could spell) lol

BLOOMING loving this diet! Never in my life have I been so in control of food ... usually it controls me!

Almost three weeks on the diet and I haven't been tempted to cheat once; this is so unlike me! Maybe, just maybe, I've actually found my life plan. That is a really, really nice thought.

Added perseverance today as, after a week's countdown, my beautiful son, William, and I have reached "no more nappies" day and we're going cold turkey!! One big wee on the kitchen floor so far ....!! Wish us luck! ;)

Well done on both fronts but yes, agree, both in same sentence is a bit scary ;-)

Well, it's my first night out with the girls tonight since I started Dukan and we're off for a ribeye and red wine 'special' (booked weeks ago).

Driving takes care of the red wine issue and, whilst I know that ribeye isn't allowed, in the absence of any other menu choices it will have to do. If I cut off all visible fat and drink plenty of good old H2O I should be okay, shouldn't I?! Oh, and it's a PV day too, so added flexibility there.

Have received two "you've lost weight"s in the last two days! :) No food on God's earth compares to that feeling :)

Pauline have a great night with your ladies x the ribeye plan sounds good just cut of the fat and remember to ask for exta veg in place of potatos/chips x

Have a lovely night Pauline, so great you can stick to dukan friendly food! How lovely to have comments about your weight loss, you can go out tonight feeling fantastic and 10lb down whoop whoop ;-)

Thanks ladies! Had a brilliant gossipy night with my girlfriends, washed down with ribeye, undressed salad, NOT A SINGLE CHIP and plenty of council pop :D Made sure I fed myself well before I went (which felt very odd .... eating before going out to dinner), but it certainly made the night easier.

Got up this morning to find I was quite unprepared for the day ahead, as I usually spend the previous evening getting food ready. So ..... I had steak for breakfast (with quark and mustard sauce - yummy!). Ha, felt like a boxer or something ... isn't that how they eat?

Anyway, have gone from feeling that I must be turning into a chicken (that's all I ate at the start of my Dukan journey), to feeling that I must now be turning into a cow!!!

Ha .... have a good day all.
