Eilidh's 285 days of conso!
Thought I'd start a diary for this stage as think it'll be tough. The lovely miniminers have got me to target weight so I need you to keep me there!!
Have just done a food shop- lots of protein, frozen veg, 4 apples, some wholewheat bread and low fat cheese added to the shop so I'm going to start tomorrow. Very scared! Need to get my head around it so I'll read the book tonight. Worry that adding all these extra cals will cause a gain again.
Also worried I don't have accurate scales at home. I was 63 at work today so think I need to keep checking in at work- how soon would you recommend? Will wi at home tomorrow to try to compare (today was pp) but I haven't "been" so it'll not be so accurate!
Going to redo measurements tomorrow too!
Scared- eek!! Already planning Saturday's gala meal and wondering when to do my pp- don't think tomorrow will count as day 1!
So to recap! For tomorrow I have my 2tbsp oatbran, 1 apple, 1 40-60g piece of whole meal bread, 40g cheese and a basic pv menu?!
I couldn't get my scales working, so I've divided my cheese (350g) into 10 portions so I'll get roughly 35g a day so close to the target although some will be above, some below. In my prep for conso day I've had 200ml milk (skimmed) with vanilla and sweetner. While watching my OH have a macdonalds (my favourite burger, the M!)
So scared seeing bread, fruit and CHEESE in my bag for lunch!! Cheese is my all time favourite!! x

Enjoy yourself - aaahhh tomato and cheese sandwiches :-) And fruit on my oatbran porridge!
I have to add I have just embarked on a "post-holiday cruise".... A week at my MIL's was just too much - good homely cooking... I managed healthy breakfasts and lunches, but let's not mention morning coffee, afternoon tea and dinnertime....
I'll be rejoining you for conso in a while... My resistance has suffered too much, after two years it needs some serious retraining!

Conso day 1:
B: 3 rashers turkey bacon, 2 boiled eggs
(3 further rashers binned as I forgot them )
Snack: dukan porridge
L: 50-60g slice whole meal bread with 35-40g cheese (cathedral city low fat) and a venison burger (plus a further venison burger on its own)
D: stir fry (bean sprouts, lean mince, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, mushroom, spring onions)
Snacks: 2 sf jelly
Enjoying that I can cook for 2 days in a row! Although I'm worried about adding these items to my diet im only adding 200-250 cals. Because of this I won't weigh for 2-3 weeks, even a month just in case!
Weird feeling hunger again too!
I cant get my head around being able to eat bread and cheese, I managed a babybel light today and an apple! Apple and cheese yummy!
Fruit I can do but I dont really want the rest just yet! Good luck on your NEW journey hun! Xxx

Today! Conso day 2
B: 3boiled eggs
S: dukan porridge
L: stirfry from yesterday
D: toasted cheese (bread and cheese allowance)
Venison burger (maybe 2!)
Lots of diet lemonade and no added sugar squash.
I wish I liked cheese on toast!!
Great conso snack though!
