Attack Joanne's Dukan Journey

Hello all, I have slowly been reading through some of the posts on here. Today is my first day and i am rather nervous just making sure I am eating the right things

Today is

2 egg omlette

chicken breast

Chicken breast and white fish

crab sticks and a galette at some point

I have skimmed milk for coffee and 0% fat vanilla yogurt if I am hungry

How does that sound I am also going for a walk later for my exercise.

I have 2 1/2 weeks before I go on holiday so I want to start now and then when I come home do a couple of attack days again.

I hope this is all ok

Thank you for the P. I had a really good 1st day yesterday, I only had 2 spoons of the yogurt, but I do need to be careful of how many crabsticks I have.

Todays menu is pretty similar to yesterdays, tomorrow is going to be my nightmare day as I have to work 12 hours in a shop by myself on a quiet day with way too many temptations around me so I am going to curb myself with some sliced beef as a snack and yogurt and crabsticks, they will be so much better for me than the sweets and crisps I would normally eat.

I have a terrible headache today is this normal?

Welcome to the best diet ever!!! (And us girls on the forum, of course!!) (And guys too, if there are any out there!! LOL)

Yes, the headache is completely normal. Say hello to the Dukan Flu!!!

It only usually lasts a few days, everyone is different, and some people don't suffer from it at all. Just take your normal painkillers and you'll be fine. Also drink plenty of water to keep hydrated.

Good idea to take lots of things that you can snack on at work. Could you manage to take in some sugar free jelly in case you get a sweet craving?? SF jelly has been my saviour at times, love the stuff!

I'm sure you'll be fine, and you can always find some advice and encouragement on here.
 
Can we have SF jelly on attack I didnt realise that - It would be nice with a little dollop of 0% yogurt on top - yum.

Yes you can have crabsticks - Max 8 a day & yes you can have SF jelly, it's a life saver

Just shout up if you are stuck, there is always someone around who can help.

So I have been Dukan faithful for the last 2 days and I feel less bloated than I have in ages. I am adding 0% fat yogurt as dressings with my evening meal which helps, and I have got the Muller Greek style )% fat lemon yogurts which are amazing. I have looked in the book again and it seems you can have these as long as they are lemon, vanilla, plain or coconut. I am getting the sugar free jelly today so I can have a really good sweet if I need one. I am hoping to continue the ATTACK phase until next Thursday which will 7 days then start with the PP/PV stage. I am going out with my daughter next sunday for dinner and I have decided to go to carvery as you can just have meat and veg.

YAY look at me getting a plan together

Hello joanne ...great start and planning is the key. Even though muller yogurt are fat free they could stall you as they have lots of sugar in.....just thought id say ( even though i eat them) good luck with your Dukan journey look forward to reading you xxx
 
I have been on Dukan for a full 4 days and I have been very focused and not cheated. I stood on the scales today for the first time and I have lost 5lbs which I am really really pleased with. I am carrying on with the attack phase until the end of the week so hopefully another couple of pounds will fall off.

todays meas are

b omlette

d chicken and fish with a yogurt and mint dressing
s crab sticks and sf Jelly with a spoon of FF yogurt
drinks coffee and water
exercise 30 mins walking

I hope that sounds ok for a day
