Attack 5lbs lost in 3 days!!

Monday I started the attack Phase, Monday was tough head ache in the evening but slept it off. The past two days It's been great.

Weighed myself last night after tea and had lost 5lbs!!! Everything I have cooked this week my bf has also been having Also but he would have extra like rice, sweet potato veg etc. I was looking to finish the attack on Friday but would it be worth doing it until Sunday would I lose much more?

Any comments or thoughts would be helpful
 
Congrats on your early success!! That's a fab result especially weighing in the evening. Also nice that you have support from your bf.
Funny I started on Monday as well and was coached by Dukan to have a 3-day Attack. But I asked this a.m. if I could/should extend another day as I've been finding it quite easy and here's the reply I received:
"would like to inform you that it is not good to extend your Attack Phase because it can be harmful for your health. During the second phase the Cruise you keep losing weight so do not worry and continue with it from tomorrow."

That said, I'm not sure how much weight you have to lose as your stats aren't showing - depending on how much, it could possibly be worth it. Though 7 days is meant to be the absolute max (for those with loads to lose).

I would like to to lose at least 20lbs (my stats ain't showing because I am a newbie, I Think)

I think best to do it till Friday and then Saturday start my cruise I miss veg so much, but not as much as carbs haha but so far impressed with the Dukan and there are lots of ideas on the web and on here :)
 
Welcome drumstar.....blinding start...

what at I would say from lots of personal experience is that there is not much difference in 5 or 7 days.....the best push in weight loss is mostly in the first 3 days then a bit more 2 days after that. I remember doing 7 once and was really disappointed that there was not much difference from 5 to 7 days....

7lbs gone since starting Monday, will now be planning my cruise menu for the week. I know the hard days are ahead and I have found prepping has helped me so much this week.

Wow wow wow 7 days on Dukan 5 days had been attack. weighing In today at a 12lbs loss. How is this possible?? I have done slimming world in the past and it's took me a good month or so to lose that? Have a great day everyone
 
Dukan is a fab diet - your cravings for carbs will get less and will eventually virtually disappear - make sure you have plenty of protein to fill up on - it stops you feeling hungry. I always made sure I had tins of tuna in, ff cottage cheese, quark - muffins are a must - I could never have got to target without the muffin recipe - they're amazing!!! Are you having your oatbran? You are doing great so far - stick to it and it definitely gets easier - you're doing great :)

Here you go. This is the exact recipe I made today. Replaced the wheat bran with oat bran as couldn't find. I had calculated calories as well if anyone's interested - if you make 12, they are just over 60 calories each. I did mini-muffins today so 30 calories. And if I wanted to get all oat bran from them, it means I can have 6!! I didn't,… ;-) Enjoy!

They really are yummy :) you don't want to be replacing wheatbran with oatbran because then you will be having too much oatbran - it could effect your losses - if you don't have any wheatbran then I would just leave it out - maybe just add less yoghurt so mixture is not too sloppy - I get all my oatbran from Holland and Barrett - they sell wheatbran too - a massive bag is only about a pound - it will last ages!!! I have also seen wheatbran sometimes in Asda - enjoy xx

Even with the added oat bran, I am permitted either 4 regular muffins, 8 mini-muffins or even 2 biggie ones (there were 3 servings in entire batch which will last me all week and I'm having to supplement oat bran in yogurt and other places). Of course, if you do use wheat bran, then you can have even more (just remember to count towards tolerateds :) )

Made these muffins earlier livery I made 16 mini ones which means about 4 is one teaspoon on oat bran haha. Will add them to my Greek yog as a bit of stodge after my homemade chicken soup at lunch tomorrow
