Lets all complain to asda.......quark!!!

You might have seen my diary thread about Asda and Quark.

I couldn't find any in my local and I was told that maybe it had been deleted. The other store still had some in but another forum member has been told the same thing.

I think we all need to complain and let them know its a product that is needed.

Have done it, but had to put it as a general enquiry otherwise it wouldn't give me an email box. If you click for product enquiry it directs you to look for your local store.

Click the drop down box next to email and choose the general enquiry box. I then asked why they were discontinuing it from stores, but highlighted my local two.

I got it in our little asda yesterday, if they can stock it in a small local(ish) store I would have expected to see it in all?

They May just be running down their stock if you still have it in store - I was definately told it was discontinued - and My ASDA is a biggun! Booooooo

It was still in the second store I went to, but the first store didn't even have the space on the shelves for it. Totally removed it.

You would think so, not heard from them as yet, but it does say it will take 24 hours at least.

If I don't get any response from them I am writing directly to the store.

No Asda near me but Tesco sells Quark.

Hi Karin,

Thank you for your email regarding the availability of Quark.

I'm sorry you have found that this product is no longer available in our Mount Pleasant and Kingswood stores. I can imagine how frustrating this was for you.

I'm pleased to say that Quark hasn't been deleted but has dropped out of some stores as part of a recent range change.

I have spoken to the manager at the store and asked them to contact the merchandising helpdesk so they can start receiving the item again.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

I did see it in the MP store today, a single row of quark now moved to the soft cheese section and not inthe specialised section. We'll see I guess.

Noooooo!!!

I must admit I read this thread and thought, 'Oh my Asda still have it' but went there last night and it was gone!!!!!!!

Luckily though I also have a small Tesco close by which still stocks it (for now!)

I certainly am hunni, only about two miles from MP and three from KW. What made you move out?

The company I worked for in beverley went bust an I got a job in Leeds. I commuted for a bit then realised that it was costing more than moving so we moved. Have to say I think it was probably the best move we ever made, I really do love living in leeds although I rent a house out in hull and I've had so many problems with tenants recently!
