    slow cooker yoghurt- success

I made slow cooker yoghurt for the third time yesterday & it worked well. My Mum made me a sort of padded tea cosy thing to keep the heat in overnight. I used 4pint carton of skimmed milk, a large scoop of skimmed milk powder & small carton of Total yoghurt. It turned out nice & thick. Could save me a small fortune over the year!

Well done, I have been using a slow cooker since about two weeks into the diet, have saved a small fortune. I use UHT skim milk from Aldi, and 2 tablespoons of yog from my last batch (don't need to buy live yogurt for every make, just use a good couple of tbpns from last batch) and a couple of tbs of skim milk powder. Great stuff. I could do with a teacosy type thing, I use a blanket and towel at the moment. LOL.

    good for you, enjoy xxx
