Hi I've ordered my book and prepping my menus to start in a couple of days. I think I've got the attack phase but not sure about the ff yogurt? Which ones am I allowed? I have bout 1.5 stones to lose so doing attack for 3 days. Is that about right? X

I've been using the Muller light yoghurts. I'm pretty new also, just got back from holiday so doing another attack phase for a few days also. Maybe someone with some more experience can shed some light on yogurts also.

Hello both of you,

I'd advise logging onto the Dukan official website and filling out their form to figure out your "true weight". One thing which is great with this calculating tool compared to pure BMI or our own favoured goal weight is that it takes into account so many other factors (age, diet history, etc) that, while it might well give you a higher "true weight" than your heart desires, it'll more likely be a "stabilisable weight" for you. You don't have to pay to join or anything, just give an email address to receive the results.

Meanwhile, Lulu, presuming you do need to lose 1.5 stones, 3 days' attack sounds about right.

Muller Lites are full of surprisingly sugar so, while they might be ok for some, others find they stall their loss so I'd advising sticking to Total 0% yoghurt at least at the outset (and certainly while on attack). Gamy, you'll probably be fine with one a day.

Why not open a diary in the diary section and post some menus and we'll see if we can help. Remember to have your oatbran each day (1.5 tablespoons while in attack, 2 tablespoons thereafter). There's a thread here with fabulous recipes. Don't just spoon it into a yoghurt as it's not very nice that way!!

Hi thanks for that. I have just calculated my true weight and it is 9st 7lbs ... So stone and half to lose it is then! Starting tomorrow. I will keep you posted x

Can I please join your thread,I'm a total Dukan virgin !

I am at my heaviest since losing 4.5 stone of weight in 2009. I was always so careful with my weight but had a tough 6 months and ate like a pig really plus stopped exercising. I have alway been a cambridge diet lover because it works, but I picked up a dukan book in a cheap book shop and thought I may give it a shot (hoping I will have more energy to start with as eating more than cambridge). I have 3 stone to lose, which is massive for me and I'm quite miserable about my size as I have had to go to and buy some "fat clothes" ; which I said I NEVER would !

I find minimins vital to losing weight and like to talk to others who know the diet.As I have not done Dukan before....so I will need as much support as I can !

Hi purple! Welcome to dukan and good luck with attack this week. Best way to get going here is to start up a diary so that people can get to know you and offer advice and support. This is a lovely group and we are behind you all the way!

Well done purple!! Crossing fingers and toes for your results this week. It's all downhill from here - in a good way, I mean :)

Yes I'm finding the diet remarkably easy and stick to it ,the only disappointing thing is my weight loss isn't great :(. I'm giving it until the end of the week and will review. Maybe dukaning just isn't for my body ???

Are you other newbies still there and on dukan ? It's gone very quiet
