Any one got the DVD with the packs? I've not ordered yet but done few days from you tube, restarting again tomorrow and intend to see it through till the end. Anyone want to join in, ill try to update each day, I know by the third day I was feeling so much better.
 
I'll do it with you when I get back from holiday but cant start until 3rd August. Hopefully your back will be better by then. I can always start a bit later than you if you're better before I'm back.

Excellent, back worse again today so can hardly walk or bend, really wanted to do this while I was off work but doesn't look like it will be happening. I think it's the 3rd August Lynn is back so hopefully my back will have sorted its self by then and we can all offer encouragement. Was also hoping to go for a little jog but think I best see how I go over next couple of days.
If you make a start let us know how you get on by day 3 I felt so much better and didn't ache as much after.
 
My DVD arrived today! So I will start day 1 tomorrow and report back as to how it goes.

I have to say though I am VERY unfit so am expecting to find it hard going, but I am going to give it my best shot!
 
Just do as well as you can and you'll improve as you go along!
 
I've just completed day 2! :D really struggling with the abs though, I find the bottom of my back hurts during the cycle crunches? Stops me completing them all :(

I have trouble with them too. I have a bad lower back anyway and haven't been able to do it for the last week. How did you find star jumps mine got better by day 3 but surprising how hard they are. Keep posting, let us know how you get on.

Did day 1 today and think it's great... really hard and totally knackering but great all the same. My OH tried it yesterday morning and said it was the hardest workout he's every done... and he is pretty fit as he cycles, rows and runs! I too found the cycle crunches hurt my lower back and I just did normal crunches instead. Same with the one where you lift your bum and crunch. It really hurts the bottom of my spine.

Found the cardio really hard to complete. The skipping I did with one foot up and one foot down as just couldn't lift both feet, but did the jumping jacks... although soooo hard towards the end. The bum kicks was more like jogging on the spot for me. But I thought it is day 1 and I am nearly 22 stones and to just keep moving throughout the whole thing will be doing me good.

Kind of looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.

Also, in the other exercise news... I bought a push bike yesterday! I haven't ridden a bike since I was 12 (years, not stones!) so that's 35 years ago! Found it really hard to gain my confidence back and had a very wobbly first try last night on a deserted car park. Found that the bulk of my thigh meeting the bulk of my middle at the top of the pedalling really uncomfortable and caused me to have a wobble. But will stick with it as hoping that, combined with the 30 day shred, it will have me burning lots of fat.

Let me know how you all get on with it.

Excellent, the bike suits you. Have you been on it today? My back is feeling a little better today so added with new motivation after a good weight loss ill be doing the 30 day shred soon. Probably wait for Lynne to get back from holiday so we can suffer the pain together in the forum, lol!


Ps packs have been sent, I had to send them collect+ if that's ok, should be with you in a couple of days.

Thanks Zoe, feels odd having a bike as I have never owned one in my adult life. Not been out on it today... need to get my confidence up on some quiet car park somewhere before doing a proper ride. OH just gone out on my bike... his not ready until next week. He's desperate to get out cycling so I told him to go out on mine! Boys and their toys... he's bought a red racing bike and is planning on building up to 60 mile road runs! I'm among for a more cycle oath through a park experience.

Have to say been so tired today after workout this morning. Zero energy.

When you do watch it could you tell me if the first 10 days are the same routine, I've only been doing it on you tube and have missed out on the free DVD offer.

Hi I have done the dvd (well started it) and yes the routine is the same for 1st 10 days x
