I'm in too, even though February will be difficult. Setting a realistic but challenging target of 10lbs for February.

I'm joining this too! I'm going to aim for 10lbs off this month, my weigh in day is Monday. Not looking forward to Monday weigh in as four meals out over past 5 days... my birthday and step daughters birthday. Have been working out daily though to try and reduce any damage! Will see what the scales say in Monday!

Well done Mr Determined .. Fantastic start for you! I started at a similar weight to you and 7 months later am almost 7 stones lighter. Stick with it, it does work!
 
Thank you very much Sparkley! It's a big help to see it is possible to stick to this long-term - you've done fantastically!! Its weird isn't it as on the one hand this is the easiest diet ever - no shopping/cooking/counting/groups and its cheap! On the other hand its the hardest diet ever as it takes so much will power and discipline, so its great to be rewarded with a big loss as it gives me the motivation to carry on! Please tell me the cravings start to subside after a while though...?

It does get easier... honest! The big losses are great motivation and cravings do stop after a while. Which plan are you doing? I did total solution for the first 5 months then started having two Exante meals and an evening meal of chicken salad as I had a problem with my hair shedding! I let myself have some treats over Christmas and was worried I wouldn't be able to get back on plan but the motivation and determination is still going strong. Fitting into smaller clothes and not feeling so unfit is a great feeling. I've also been exercising since about the 3rd week. I do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD 6 mornings a week and go to a body pump class one evening a week - I think that's all helped too.

Did you start last Monday? You should be in ketosis by now. I find I don't miss carbs (bread was my downfall) and if I do crave anything it is usually protein based. Seem to have lost my sweet tooth too!

Having said all that it is hard and takes a lot of determination. But like you say, it's kind of the easiest diet I've ever done!
 
Thank you Sparkley. I'm doing TS as I feel like I need to abstain in order to break all my bad habits/routines which always end up creeping back into other diets ive tried and sabotaging my efforts. Im already bald so no worries there lol so hoping I can see this through and then work my way up the plans and will try to maintain by staying low carb as I just cant be trusted around them!!

Wow that is a brilliant loss for the week Mr D. well done. Stick with it & you will be rewarded. You should be through the toughest part now. Just need to stay focused. Good luck.

hi all I've noticed that i put my start weight wrong lol! it should be 12.9 not 12.3 lol!
my weigh in is tmw so hopefully it wont be far off from 12.3 :) gl ev1 and congrats to those who have lost already
