    Determinator is back , for the last time !!!

    Hi , here is the start of my Exante diary !! I am katie , I am 33 , a sister in a nursing home , have 2 girls , elena 4 and abbie 2 , and have always been overweight !!!
    I was a fat child , a fat teenager and a fat adult . in 2009 I hit 19 stone and after a photo taken by my 4 year old shocked me sooo much I decided action was needed !!!

    I started Lipotrim in Nov 2009 , and lost 5 stone very quickly . I then developed gallstones and had to have my gallbladder removed so I had 7 months off . I then switched to Cambridge diet and did ok until I got down to BMI of 25 and you have to sart adding food ... well I didnt do so well then ... I came off CD and started SW which I have been doing for the last 6 months or so , Igained an initial 10 lb when I stopped CD ( and went on holiday ) , and although SW was fantastic , i just havent been able to loose ... so I am giving exante a go to try and shift this last 1.5 - 2 stone .

    I started today , I worked night shift last night so thought it was a good day to start , so I didnt eat anything after 03.00 am .. then went to bed when I got home , and just had my first shake .....a strawberry one ... not as sweet as CD but much much creamier and more filling so fell great .... 2 litres of water down so far and I am hoping that I can get back on the wagon without too much trouble .. have always done ok in the past so fingers crossed

    oh no shanny why you struggling ?? I must admit I normally find day 3/4 the hardest then day 5 it starts to get easier .. I am sure you can push yourself through and keep going

    I think I will weigh in on a monday .. although as a twice daily weigher I will have a good idea whats happening all week !!!

    I have just had a chocolate shake .. hmmmm .. I know a lot of people say they taste like mould .. i can see what they mean , although as its day 1 I will hope they improve .. they are not quite as nice as the dairy milk I scoffed yesterday .. but they are drinkable and far far nicer than the lipotrim ones I survvived on for 5 months so I think I will manage

    Everything has gotten tastier for me with a bit of time (and the arrival of the K train) - I LOVE the choc shakes now. Haven't tried it yet, but some make them up with water that's had a peppermint tea bag in for a choc/mint experience. Might help with the sort of mould taste if that doesn't pass?

    Weight loss journey started a few years ago at 18st 2lbs. Lost 4st 3lbs through calorie counting and exercise.

    Started EXANTE 05/07/11 for a boost weighing in at 13st 13lbs and lost 17lbs but struggled to get back on the TFR wagon after a holiday.

    Joined Slimming World 15/03/12 weighing in at 12st 12.5lbs - I have decided that this time I'll make it all the way to my goal of 9st 7lbs.

    Mini Goal: Get to BMI under 30 (out of the obese category and into the over-weight category) = get to 12 stone

    well day 2 today .... 700 ml of water down and saving my first shake till lunch I had a tesco ultra slim bar last night , was ok and quite filling but think I will get some of the exante ones .. gonna order my bumper pack today and will get shakes and bars , I like to follow a diet to the letter so will get bars too .

    Well as a daily weigher - I find whatever the result it has always motivated me to keep going or do better - I weighed this morning , after 24 hours .. and lost ......5 lb so far !!!!! I have always had massive losses in week 1 ( normally 12-14 lb ) and very happy that that doesnt seem to have changed .. I am just like a sponge the amount of water I retain !!!!!

    Busy day today , have a load of ebay stuff to post , then food shopping with both the kids ...... normally something I try to avoid but school holidays are forcing me :/ .... then going to see harry potter tonight ...... will take my bar with me and munch that and drink lots of water .. just hope my bladder lasts !!!! Feeling a bit sad that it is the last film .. I have loved Harry Potter right from the very first book , and find it a little sad that its all over .. looking forward to it though

    and tomorrow night i am going to see a medium , not 1 to 1 but in a small group so looking forward to that

    oooouuuuucccccchhhhh .. headache is aweful .. to be honest its not a side effect i suffered when I have done TFR in the past so a little surprised , hoping it doesnt last too long ... :/

    apart from that I am doing great , had a banana shake for lunch which was lovely , so just the vanilla to try and the bars now I am looking forward to harry potter later and will take a tesco bar with me to nibble on .. and maybe even a bottle of water ... oooo I am a dare devil !!!!
