Total Solution First Day! Any Advice?!

Hey, well,, today was my first day on the exante total solution!
I haven't found it too bad today, but I've heard it gets ALOT worse over the next couple of days :(
Does anyone have any advice or motivational words i could have?
Also, is there any way to make the soups and shakes less lumpy, or am I just doing them wrong? :confused:

Hi Jem, congrats on taking the leap :) I'm on day 2 so in a similar boat to you.
Yesterday I had porridge which was yummy, a bar equally yummy and a veg soup which was rank!!!!! I scoured this forum for ideas to make the soups palatable and tonight I'm thrilled to report that I loved the tai soup!!!! I made it with extra water, chilli powder and salt and gave it a good blitz in the blender :) it tasted good but frothy soup is a little odd (but no lumps) so if you have any tips I'm all ears!!

Hi! Day one for me too! Feeling ok so far and positive but like u a little worried that it's the calm before the storm. I guess since we are expecting it then we also know it will pass? :eek:)

Just keeping think positive and make sure you drink the amount of water they recommend as that apparently helps.

I use a hand blender for the soups and shakes and they turned out fine.

The best advice I can give you is to get a blender and mix your shakes with ice as they are lush then.

Also keep the headache tablets handy. Good luck x
 
Hiya and welcome, yes blitzed iced shakes are the dogs..! Definitely get yourself a blender if you haven't got one, quite a few of us have a smoothie 2go. Makes this diet much more do-able imo :hug99:
 
Hey girls good luck on your journey. Getting past the first few days is difficult but it does get easier. Just drink loads and keep your chins up x
 
Good luck all! The first few days arent always easy, but if you can stick with it you'll see the results at your first weigh in :) There are all sorts of different things you can do with the shakes and soups, there are a few threads on here with loads of ideas :) I personally like freezing the shakes so theyre like icecream, and making porridge biscuits :) The soups I'm not a fan of, esp the tom&basil, but you'll find out as you go along what you like and what you dont, and can go from there then :) Good luck! :)
 
hiya and welcome all neewbies, I use a shaker for my cold shakes and a hand whisk for the soups, maybe i am not normal but i actually like everything apart from the chocolate shake! hope you all do well xx
