Hello,

New to this - Having always been a big girl, I've done all sorts of diets, but only had one which really worked before (sure slim) - my motivation was to have IVF...(had had it previously twice and failed and am sure weight was a factor)

I lost nigh on 8 stone and felt brilliant (despite still being technically overweight!)

The IVF worked, and my son will be 5 next year, but the weight came back - and some!
I want to get back to where I was size wise as I was happier with myself, was fitter and healthier.

I'm already feeling motivated reading some of the stories on here, and am revving myself up to start on Monday! (wedding anniversary on Sunday so waiting!)

Off we go....

:sign0144:

So it begins! Had forgotten about the weeing aspect but at least I know that means I'll lose this week!
Feeling motivated and actually quite excited! Took a couple of before pics too and measurements so I will weigh in next week and see if this Exante lark is all worth it!

Feel like I've drunk an ocean today, but the shake was ok -put the 'froth' in my coffee, the bar took me a lot longer to eat than I had thought, and the soup was ok too!
I'd forgotten I'd spend most of my time in the loo, but hey, it all adds to the loss!
Bring on tomorrow, and the next day and the next-I feel determined this time!!!
and good luck to you too, 3stones2lose!!

Never thought I'd be enjoying bouillon as much as I am right now!! Having a mug before my lunchtime bar-feels more like a meal that way! 3stones2lose-if it takes ages that's good-better habits to be in when reintroducing food!
hope everyone's having a good day.
:)

Bit up and down today-tired this afternoon and really disliked the tomato soup-might be a hold the nose job in future :-S
put up a motivational pic (from when I lost before) so I know where I'm heading, but soooo could have eaten what my son left on his plate after dinner!!! Threw it in the bin quick :)
bit of a random ramble but will sleep and things will be better in the morning!
All the best x

Better day today - hopefully heading towards ketosis... had a little slump in the afternoon (psychological hunger!) and used the bouillon at 4o clock which helped. may give in to a sneaky peek at the weight tomorrow - I know I shouldn't but sometimes it helps. Right?! ;-)

Well done every little helps.
I know what you mean Im on day 16 now and have weighed myself loads in the last 3days as the scales aren't saying what i want them to say. I thought i would have lost more than 7lbs by now. Having read others stories i was expecting more i should be happy but i am not. Need to keep positive and hope the scales will see it my way soon.

Day 4 yay! did a sneaky peek, and think the scales must be wrong as I can't have lost 9lbs in 3 days...will weigh on Monday when I'm supposed to and see then.
3stones2lose are you measuring yourself aswell as weighing? - When i last lost a lot of weight, I found that if it hadn't gone on the scales it had in inches.
Also TOTM can mean we hold on to more water/weight for a coupla weeks and lose it in the other two :)
Keep going cos every loss is a loss.
Hope all have a good day. X

Thinking I might be in ketosis-icy fingers and toes (and nose!) and not quite so sluggish this afternoon :) Also armed myself with some seasonings (garlic, celery salt, herbs etc) and can say I actually enjoyed my soup this evening! Hopefully I can jazz up the tomato next time!
Luck and fortitude x

Hi! Im going to start Exante on monday.....whats bouillion??? I seriously hope there is a good booklet arrives with my pack as Im so confused as to what i can drink and what extras i can have when i have a meal after four weeks.....sounds like you are doing well, keep going at it you can do it xx

Hi nickyt75-thankyou and welcome along on the ride!
bouillon is a stock powder that you can drink a couple of times a day as part if your water. Marigold is the make most peeps on here get, and us fab in this colder weather!
There is a thread on what you can drink which us very helpful-it is marked as a 'sticky'. Same with the food for when you add a meal (aam) if you want to stay in ketosis.
Hope that helps hon! I wish you success and willpower :)
xx

Day 5 :) getting into the swing of things now and feeling quite 'up' today (still freezing, which I'm taking as a good sign!)
had half my vanilla shake as normal this morning and the other half as a chai latte-mmmmmm!!! I really enjoy my bouillon and bar for lunch and am getting used to the soups now I can jazz them up .
Staying focused.
Willpower to all xx

Managed to make the tomato soup palatable!! Result in my book :)

Day 6 hello!
Choc shake and mocha coffee for breakfast - don't mind if I do!
quite excited at the prospect of weighing on Monday - not something I thought I would be having avoided the scales for the last few years!
had a look in my 'thin' wardrobe last night (from previous/only big weightloss) and am looking forward to getting back into it all next spring/summer.
Am also not too fazed at the thought of Christmas either now as I know I can aam and stay focused. (the sure slim diet I did was started in October too - must like to punish myself ;)
Have decided to do shakes and bars next month with poss porridge added in as I'm not a great fan of the soups, even with seasoning additions!
Right. enough rambling - onwards and thinwards!
:stickdance:

Just dodged the rain for an hour and done some cutting back in the garden-feel like a deserved rest now!

day 7 and looking fwd to weigh in tomorrow. strawb shake, litre water and a coffee for breakfast. and hopefully slightly less time in the loo!
:)
