My ongoing battle........!
Hi everyone; I started exante (again) a couple of weeks ago. I thought that starting a diary is a good place to voice my trials and tribulations!!
I did LL a few of years ago. I lost a massive 6 stone and had a healthy BMI for the first time in my adult life. I felt amazing, but sadly old habits die hard and as the months and years ticked by I had to keep joining slimming world and weight watchers to undo damage.
I eventually gave up on my battle because I was just sick on writing food down etc etc. I then got into that fatal mindset of refusing to get on the scales. Hence, at the beginning of March 2012 (after realising that yet aother pair of jeans won't fasten) I got on the scales to realise that I had put on almost 4 stone again!! I joined exante and by May2012 I'd lost 2 of those stones. I started cheating though, and as my weight loss slowed down I lost motivation. I stopped it "for a while" with the intention of re-starting in "a week or so".
Well 2 weeks ago (5 months later!) I got back on the scales. I was APALLED to realise that I'd put on a massve 2 1/2 stone!!
So here I am, back on exante. Something has to change. My eating habbits are ridiculous!! That was such a tremendous amount of weight to put on in such a short space of time. I do not claim to have a slow metabolism etc etc. I put on weight because I eat far too much. I know what food is healthy and what I should do, but that instant fix of food always wins over the thought that "you'll regret this later when you get fat!".
So while I'm trying to work out how in the hell I'm going to address my crazy emotional eating; I'll be getting rid of these pounds....AGAIN! x

Well last week I lost 3.5 lbs and was a little disappointed for a week 2 loss (but still pleased with myself!). I was astounded this morning to see that I'd lost 5lbs this week (got back on scales about 20 times to make sure it wasn't a blip)!!! I'm so pleased I didn't cave yesterday. I'm rather hormonal this week and my cravings all day yesterday were almost too much to bare. The only thing that kept me on the straight and narrow was that it was weigh day today and I didn't want to risk being out of ketosis! Well it paid off and I'm now more motivated that ever!! Hope everyone else has a good week too....x

Isn't it funny how I only want to come onto minimims when I'm being "good". Last week I stuck to plan 5 days but had one day off for my nephew's birthday and later in the week went out for a meal with a firend. End result? Stayed the same! So I didn't update the profile as didn't feel like shouting about it. Daft isn't it?? Well this week, and probably why I felt the need to shout out loud... I've lost 5.5lbs!! Yey! Proof that I can get back on track after a bad week. Hopefully this philosophy will work for me over the festive period too?!!
