Thanks Angel I wont eat hun so chicken is a no go, so is extra packs as i wont have them either lol such a stubborn sod lol. Reading the diaries of others who have lost 4-8 stone, They didnt do high intensity exercise, Just normal low impact like walking, classes, Wii, jogging etc. I want to get fit and healthy and slim, but without going OTT. Shred is made for fast results in 30 days muscle and tone-wise, but not so much to make you fitter than running would. Gah im so undecided now hehe xx

I have to say I watched the you tube you posted and it looked frightful. Find something which makes you smile and you'll more likely stick to it anyway. Just don't hurt yourself Zumba looks fun, tried that ?

    Thanks Marge you're right.

I know the resting a day inbetween is right, if you want to body build kind of thing, as my OH did that with his trainer at the gym last year, Its how they build the huge muscles, rip them, feed them, heal them, rip them the next day so they grow bigger and stronger. So on so on, Its what the body builders do and my OH and his friend used to work on different parts of the body on different set days at the gym. Thats not worrying me though, Just the low losses hehe.

The message was sent from RawrGirl and im really grateful for the helpful information. Maybe a good shred will clear my head! If i could fast forward a week and see what my loss would be next WI then i could decided now whether to switch back to running or Shred We shall just see eh xx

Thats what I said on my post yesterday that I'll do the shred when I've lost more weight as it will make more of a difference I reckon. To get to a toned body now I'd have to do the shred for 30 days about 50 times haha!!

Do whats right for you ED- you were doing fabulously before Zumba is really good on the wii though classes are better! I love the hoop too and reckon that has helped with the inches from my waist.

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow

Day 35 coming to an end

Today has been my least positive feeling day since i began. Not diet-wise, but Shred-wise. This has ended in me thinking so much about it today. Before i started training i was happy, Today i havnt been. I was really enjoying my exercise running on the treadmil 20-30 minutes a day combined with the walking 3.6 miles - Getting fitter and healthier while feeling great and seeing results. Those sessions made me feel amazing! The treadmil is a great way to tone the body all over while improving fitness, stamina etc but without actually doing strength training and muscle building. Im just not happy that the 30 day shred would need me to eat protein food or up my packs. I point blank refuse to do either, so i risk an unknown outcome if i want to continue against advice. If i continued the 30 Day Shred, what would i do once the 30 days were up, Continue a cycle of 30 days forever? I dont think so. Would i jog, walk and run everyday? Of course! I think the 30 day shred is beneficial for a slimmer figure wanting muscle defenition, You're not going to get that with a fatty like me. You're not going to see my abs through 3-4st of excess fat on my body within 30 days of anything lol. Yes the shred would lose me inches and make me slimmer by the end - but so would the diet with my usual exercise. I lost 21lbs and 13 inches in January. I have lost 1lb this week. When i reach 10st i think the shred would be amazing for me. To actually see results properly would be a huge boost! Now it feels like just a challenge, a fun thing to do while on the diet, and i cant find the motivation when im not optimistic and confident in the results it could or could not bring.

With this in mind i have decided to revert back to what made me feel strong and happy on the diet Im going to stick with the walking and running, and introducing other exercises with low impact that i find enjoyable along the way. I loved the feeling of the shred when i noticed i could do it with more ease, but i also loved the feeling of being able to jog and run for longer than i could before! Fitness is fitness! I absolutely feel my mood lifting just for pin pointing what was making me feel uneasy today, I couldnt quite put my finger on it all day. Deciding to put it right is already making me feel fab again

No shredding for me tonight! Tomorrow will be my usual exercise! I will re-think the shred closer to 11st. WI tomorrow and it will be my lowest loss yet, Expecting -1lb, but i did say i wouldnt mind. Maybe i mind a little hehe, but im hoping it will pick up again next week!

    Night everyone xx

Hi ED glad you got all that sorted in your mind. Makes sense and you need to do what you happy with. If a small loss this week please don't worry you had an amazing loss last week, a double whammy really, and your body will just be adjusting. Think of it as shrinking time ready for more weight loss next week xx

You are doing the right thing for you. Bet you slept better with that worry off your mind.

I love exercise and spend a lot of time on the treadmill. I totally agree that you get a great sense of achievement as you gradually see your fitness improve whether it is going a little longer , faster or in my case steeper on the treadmill. Exercise should be fun with that wonderful feeling of the endorphins going through your brain at the end. I think the Shred was maybe just too much of a change for your body.

The whole point of this diet is to lose weight and if something is stopping your progress then ditch that something. Hope your WI has gone well.
