Great stuff and welcome

Thanks Shrimp. Well today has been Day 8 and slightly more challenging.

Its been an absolute scorcher and I've spent the whole day at a theme park with my friend and our children. I made a picnic for the children and took a bar for lunch. We have guzzled tons of water due to the extreme heat.

Fun day with two shattered children and not long since home. Time for a shake and more water before shower and bed and onto day 9!

Week 1 - 6lb

Well today is day 9. I've hopped on the scales this morning and there is no change since Wednesday but I don't think I had enough water yesterday.

We had a really long day at the theme park in really hot weather and I was so focused on my two young children drinking enough I forgot about me really. I probably only had two litres max.

Today is a new day so I've had a shake and my first pint of water and I'll be taking the children swimming later. Enjoying our six weeks off school so much.

Hello :)

Well done for getting through week one and your 6lb loss! You are doing great. The scales will move - it is impossible not to lose weight if you are following it 100%.

Hello :)

Well done for getting through week one and your 6lb loss! You are doing great. The scales will move - it is impossible not to lose weight if you are following it 100%.

Thank you Roly - I'm feeling positive about TS. I like the fact I don't have the complication of thinking about food.

Well yesterday was another 100% day but the scales hadn't moved since my weigh in on Wednesday. I made sure I drank plenty and went swimming with my children for a bit of gentle exercise.

This morning I did have sneaky weigh in and was so pleased to see 16st 13lb!!! Into another stone bracket feels great and will certainly spare me on to see a loss on Wednesday.

Another 100% day here we come!

Yay the 16's! It's very exciting to see a lower stone bracket. I think drinking is the key....I didn't drink much yesterday and put on 0.2 lbs!! Need to take my own advice and remember a gain would be impossible...it's just my body playing tricks on me. Have a great day x

Day 10 is coming to an end and its been another 100% TS. Had a busy day but no huge obstacles to overcome regarding food and eating. I have asked my DH to make sure any leftovers of the children's are binned straight away. Leaving them on plates in view is too tempting.

Im struggling with the smell of my own breath at the mo! Does anyone else notice their smelly mouth?? My DD kindly told me tonight it's stinky!

Feeling proud of another day done.

Well done....the breath thing is worth it when you see those stones slipping away!
pi am naughty and have a tictac

Day 11 today. Feels like I've been doing this a lot longer! I prepped a lovely picnic this morning and we packed the car up and set off for a walk in the Dales. We walked about 2.5 miles along a beautiful river, stopped for the picnic (I had a bar) and the children paddled.

Lovely way to spend Sunday. We haven't been home long but I'm pondering a gym visit. I have my dress for a wedding in 12 days time and its still a little snug on the tummy. Hoping that in the 12 days I have until the event I can drop another 6lbs to make me feel comfortable. Doable? Who knows but I'm 100% TS again today so fingers crossed!

Hmmm to gym or not to gym - that is the question!? ;)

Hi Hullou. Just been reading your diary. You're doing great! It's a wonderful feeling when you go down from one stone to another. Good for morale! Do you live in Yorkshire? I notice you mentioned visiting the Dales. I'm in Derbyshire but work in Kirklees (Huddersfield and Dewsbury).

Hi Lynne

Yes I'm in Yorkshire. Small village outside of Bradford. We actually border Kirklees so not far from your work area.

I really enjoyed reading all the member diaries while I was waiting for my packs to come through. Really made me keen to get started.

Just the endless loo trips to deal with and I've cracked it!

I struggle with that too! I used to drive to work but now find it less stressful to travel by train. However, I don't like using the toilets on trains and am usually desparate by the time my 2.5 hour journey ends!

Wow 2.5 hours and I would be bursting! Counting the endless trips upstairs as exercise these days .

Ahhhhh. So blooming cross with myself!!! After drinking 3lt of water, walking 2.5/3 miles and having a bar on the picnic I've just walked into the kitchen and had two squares of chocolate. Why. Why?

What an utter fool. So cross with my lack of thought.

How much damage have I done by eating this?

Hiya. 2 chunks of chocolate shouldn't do too much damage. Just make sure you draw a line under it and don't do my trick of eating every last carb in the house!

I'm up for our 100% day tomorrow - think we should extend it to a 100% week :)

Ah, poor you. I know how you feel. I came downstairs the other day and found the left overs of fruit and nut on the kitchen side that my dh had been eating the night before. It's just such temptation, especially as it was my TOTM and yes I too succumbed to two squares

I'm not sure it wont be much damage on the weight loss just not sure whether it will take you out of ketosis, will have to wait for some more seasoned members to come along.

Don't beat yourself up hun, uv done so well already so move on and tmrw is a new day :D

Thanks for the words of support Roly & On My Way, feeling positive today bad ready for total 100%!

I have a trip to the cinema planned with my children and I've packed their drinks and snacks nd because we are heading straight off to meet friends after at a play place I've packed water and bar for me.

Today is a focus focus focus day. I so want these scales to move on Wednesday weigh in and my dress for this blooming wedding to fit better!

Have a great day all.

Hi Hulllou. Hope you had a lovely day.

Hi Hulllou. Hope you had a lovely day.

Hi Lynne - had a great day thanks. Lovely to catch up with friends and children (age 8 & 4) had a fab time. I had a 100% day and drank plenty so working towards those scales going down at tomorrows weigh in!

Today we've had a morning at home and then a walk into the village to visit the bank, post office and shop. We've had lunch now so it's back out to the stables. My DD is horse obsessed and is taking part in lots of events over the next three weeks before our holiday. Three week today and we will be Majorca bound!
