Total Solution My shiny keep me on track diary!

Posted in the forum but thought I'd start a diary here, I need to keep myself accountable. Have started technically Monday although not 100% so counting today as Day one as getting weighed later!

So far I've had a toffee nut bar for late breakfast, and made an odd stodgy cake thing from porridge for a late lunch that was surprisingly edible! Was trying to make a cookie but it rose and was actually quite nice, felt like I was eating some proper food. Didn't fill me up like the shakes do though. Have had two of the odd new skinny cans of coke zero and 1 litre of water, going to push the water over the remainder of the afternoon.

I'm getting married in May and need to look thinner in my photos else I know I'll hate them! Haven't even bought a dress yet :( I'm going to be around 11st tonight, possibly a few pounds over. I want to be around 9st 7 for our wedding.

Hope everyone's having a fab day xx

Good luck with your diet! Stick to it every day and you'll be at your goal in no time :)

10 stone 11! Less than I thought. 100% today and so proud of myself for it.

Wow lucky you to weigh less than you thought! Good luck

Well done!

Thanks :)

I'm having a weak moment! Had a vanilla shake for breakfast, and a tesco bar for lunch (hope they're still allowed!) and now I'm sat thinking... Well if I just did slimming world/weightwatchers/etc I could eat ...... Right now!

So I thought I better come and voice it and stop myself eating and regretting it. I wouldn't stick to it if I changed in the middle of the day, and I have too much to lose, it can't be done in the period of time! I will resist the food!!!!!

Argh off to console myself with the second skinny coke zero of the day. I've only drank 500 ml of water too so need to rectify that as it can't help.

I nearly quit on my second day of Exante but I'm so glad I didn't. It's taken a while to find the combination of products that works for me but if you stick with it then you won't regret it!

Thanks, yes I think that's it. I like having a bar for when I need to eat on the go, or around people (haven't told anyone I'm doing exante). I can cope with shakes too, but not meals or soups.

How are you getting on?

So I ended 100% yesterday (assuming my Pepsi Max doesn't count, I know there's debate over it delaying ketosis etc but it's my only vice! I'm trying to replace it with coke zero and water though, and to be honest only having one is a huge step!)

I am starving!!!!!! Had a vanilla shake this morning and need to make it to lunchtime.... Argh!!! More water for me

When I started off I tried all the products I thought I'd like. I settled into a routine of chilli, bar and shepherd's pie every day. I soon got sick of all three and now I'm just on shakes instead. Lots of different flavours and quick to throw down - it was so demoralizing trying to eat something where every bite made me queasy!
I'd recommend the exante shake cup thing as well. Makes a nice smooth shake without using a blender which means you can take it out with you as well.
I usually start my day with a shake at about 12pm, another at about 4pm and a final one at 8pm. I find that I can easily go for the morning with no food, it's the evenings where I'm more prone to hunger so having a shake at 8pm gets me through to bedtime :)

I'd love to have them that late but I'm up at half 6 for work and there's no way I can make it to lunch most mornings. I try to hold out as long as I can though.

I did! I've had a Pepsi max today now but I'm determined it will be my only one (better go buy some coke zero after work!). I'm definitely hungrier today, but I'm telling myself to appreciate it - plus I stood on the scales and it reckons I'm 10 st 8.something, so definitely a loss already. I take my scales with a pinch of salt but it helped motivate me :)

Hope you are both having a good day! What has startled me is how much I think about food in a normal day - I wake up, get dressed, grab a drink... Start work, think about food. Spend the morning on and off thinking about snacking... Then have lunch. Spend the afternoon thinking about snacking.... Dinner! Then we all know what the evenings are like. I feel a bit ashamed by it to be honest, and I think I could easily be much bigger and heavier.

Well done for staying on track. Our brains like to play tricks on us don't they but you know that the weight loss on SW or WW won't be anywhere near the loss on Exante.

The time will fly by & just keep thinking of that lovely dress you will be wearing. x

The other thing is to try splitting your packs in half to see if that helps with the hunger & food thoughts x

I was the same at the start, constantly thinking about food all day long. My evening meal was a huge part of my day - I finish work at 8pm so used to go home, cook something up and kick back in front of the TV. There was a point (and I'm not sure when exactly it was) that I stopped thinking about eating all day and started thinking about my water intake instead. All day now I have a bottle right next to me and I'm constantly working out whether I'm drinking fast enough to make sure that I get my 2-4 liters a day :)

you are doing well. Now you have started keep going it looks like you will have a good loss and will be there before you know it. good luck.

The amount of food places I've had to walk past today with my eyes closed! My friend, bless her, even steered me a different route haha. Food is so... Important? Lol

Hi Lunavix, how is your day going? x
