So, today was day 1 for me. This morning I was feeling so excited and confident.... Had meal 1 about half 10 at work... Went for a jog about 2,had meal 2 at half 3ish.. Meal 3 was half 7 and then to the gym between 8.15 and 9.30...i haven't drunk as much water during the day today, but before gym I mixed some lemon and ginger slices into a large shaker. Tasted so good and refreshing! On my 3rd shaker full, so that's a plus! I've started to get hungry now, was supposed to sleep an hour ago, but thanks kept popping up. Tried watching TV, too many food adverts there as temptation! Not that I wanted to eat any of it! Will this hunger pass? It's hit me twice today.... I've noticed I'm quite cold, much colder in comparison to normal, I find that a bit weird! But yeah, day one is done, roll on day 3!x

Hunger will pass after 4-5 days. Just don't cave in before then. U might get headaches and feel like rubbish but it will pass.

In nit sure, but I don't think lemon and possibly gibger, is allowed on exante. Think citric acid knocks u out if ketosis. I'm really nit 100% sure but think u should check it out incase u are hindering ur progress.

Oh my gosh, dammit! I totally forgot about the citric acid! Eek. No more for me then! Thanks for the reminder! X
 
So, day 2. I couldn't help myself and stood on the scale this morning; pleasant surprise, 3lbs down woo! Day wise, Not bad... No more lemon and ginger water for me though! Have had a headache since I've started but I will not give in! Still waiting for the rest of my food pack to arrive, Exante, ur next day delivery is a LIE. Will be living off strawberry milkshake until then I guess! Stomachs been making funny noises, little sisters are annoyed I won't take them out to eat (because I don't want the temptation). Watched some TV and realised how many food adverts there actually are! *grumbles* I'm sticking to it!

They told me when I ordered on Monday it wud be 2-3 days, spoke to them today and they said it's out of stock and will be dispatched in 2-3 days... Grrr. But on the website it says they're in stock. *sigh* it's OK, I'm not giving up! Seriously testing me though! And I've been so hungry today. Was worse today though, but I'm keeping away from the kitchen!
 
So, day 2,some high points and some low. On the plus side, with all the temptations, the fish and chips, the baked potatoes, the flans and ice cream, all the TV adverts, I'm still 100% on this diet. I have a headache, I feel like I'm dehydrated, my mouth is constantly dry, and bad breath and no gum. My actual stomach is making weird noises and feels like it's vibrating. Lol. Haven't had any bowel movements today, maybe because I'm not taking much food in. Still only suck strawberry shakes. Dad tried feeding me chicken, which was met with a quite fierce no. He doesn't know I'm on the diet, so can't really blame him! Hasn't seen me eat in 2 days and thinks I'm trying to starve myself lol. Bless him! Hopefully my meal packs will be here tomorrow *prays*.

Anyone else feeling the weird belly rubbling/vibrating? How abt feeling cold? I've been so cold all day today!

Ah well, bed time, day 3 tomorrow!
 
Your belly will be like a washing machine on full spin at times. Lots of people say they get cold too. Think it passes!

No washing machine mode today! That's good, no hunger either! Haven't even had my first shake yet! Mum seems to think I've lost some weight already lol. I must say, only the beginning of day 3 and my clothes r feeling slightly looser! I usually get too excited when they're loose and end up breaking my diet, but not this time! :D
 
You are doing really well Mia. the coldness, hunger & tummy rumblings are normal. Loose clothes is one of the things that make this diet bearable.

Time for evening meal now, can't decide if I shud have a bar or milkshake! :D I'm normally never cold, everyone's starting to ask questions now, questions I don't really want to answer *grumbling* got myself a coke zero today, enjoyed the fizz!

Lol im trying to save my double choc ones! Only my dad and a sister don't know about it, dad was dead against it, saying it will effect me in the long run and stuff. I couldn't be bothered to argue! But personally, I don't even care how I get to my goal weight anymore as long as I get there. I can deal with maintaining it later! I'm loving how the weight's dropping off, giving me the motivation to stick to it! Stomachs been a bit weird, felt really bloated after the choc orange bar (was really filling!) but I think it'll be because it's the first solid food I've had in these three days! Oh well, a cup of peppermint tea and a half litre of water! Maybe some coke zero :D end of day 3, packs arrived just in time! Still 100% :D happy days! Hope you're being strong and powering through! Xx
 
The beginning of day 4. Whilst the first few days have been plagued with tiny headaches, a stomach making weird noises, gas, and some random aches, the plus side to them, I have dropped some weight, face looks smaller already as does belly, and surprisingly enough I had loads of energy yesterday evening! I don't think I've been awake at this time (in a long time) and not wanted to go back to sleep! Maybe I should invest in some ketostix, they might make me happy Lol. But yeah, roll on day 4, and good luck everyone! X
 
Well done on getting through the first few days so well - I don't suffer from a rumbly tum but I am permanently freezing.

I personally don't bother with the sticks as as long as you're sticking to the diet TS then you will be in ketosis.
 
Don't bother with the sticks Mia, as Katie says they are not needed.

Things will start to get a bit easier now so well done. Just stay focused on your goals x
 
Lol no sticks it is! Urgh, I had my bar a little early today, just because I was excited to try it... (toffee raisin and nut). Just after 3 rather than... Nowish I guess! Erm... I feel like I'm constantly thinking about food. Lol and I'm not even hungry! How does that work Lol. -_- another thing I'm worrying about is stretch marks... Have any of u had any issues? Or am I just being paranoid? What about excessive loose skin? Though I think it's a bit late for me to be worried about it now since I've made the commitment! I'm lookin to lose 6-7 stones, at least 3/4 of it on TS if not all. But i dont see the point in getting to it and still being unhappy with what I see :/

Having a questioning day today, but full of energy, feeling somewhat good... I think I visit the forum a few times too many Lol... But it's helping me keep on track, feel like I've got someone to report to :D
I think i may start the 30 day Shred today, I only lasted a week last time I did it! Fingers crossed I see it all the way through this time!
How's everyone else doing?
