Could this be it!?

Thought I would start a diary to remind myself to keep going! I like many have been on loads of diets, last year I lost 2.5 stone on Weight watchers but it was a struggle!

I have always had issues with food but lately it has been binge eating and comfort foods.

To be honest I have always mocked people on food replacement diets and I only started this due to a good offer and last desperate attempt to ditch these pounds for good!

Why haven't I done it before!!? I have lost 11lbs in the first two weeks and will weigh in later for week 3 results. I feel really good and it has been so nice not having to stress and worry about what to eat. Just not having to think about food has been great.

Don't get me wrong, it is not easy I have two children and a husband who I cook lovely meals for but I enjoy cooking for them now and it is not so much of a chore which is odd.

I am also a Youth worker and cook a lot with young people, I do miss sharing the food with them but they don't notice which is good.

I originally said I would only do this for 6 weeks but I think I might continue, I have a holiday in June for my 30th birthday and I do not want to be fat for it!!!

Good luck everyone!

Good luck and keep at it. Being removed from real food is a good time to think about when and why you eat. I know it is hard to cook for others - I do too - but they are usually not bothered if you are not eating. So you are doing really well, carry on and you will soon get to your goal.

Hi L&S. Welcome to the forum. Keeping a diary is a good way of keeping track of how you are doing & of identifying what may be your trigger points & areas of temptation.

Well done on your weight loss. Excellent results. Keep going & you will get to where you want to be xx

Thank you for your replies, I have found where you all are!! Been in total solutions and it been really quite in there.
I had my first wobble last night and ate all the crust from my son's pie as he didn't want it! Oh well I have been good today and I only had two packs yesterday so hopefully I will be ok and still have a loss next Wednesday.

Hi L&S. Just caught up with your diary. Well done so far!

Thank you Lynne! I am shattered me and my boys (aged 4, 7 and 41!) Popped into brighton to enjoy the weather but it is draining walking around shops!

We spent ages in the Lego shop and bought my oldest son's Beaver uniform and then had Macdonalds.

I wasn't even tempted to finish of the fries as it all smelt so greasy yuck!

Maybe your taste buds are changing!

Fell off the wagon big style last night. I had a dodgy tummy all day and stupidly weighed myself and it said a lb up. I knew in my head it was just water retention due to tummy but by the evening I so hungry I went on a car binge :-(

This morning I have very bad tummy ache, bloated and indigestion. Don't want to see what damage it has done on Wednesday.

Also, I am going away for the weekend and know I have to eat dinners. Is it possible to do this without gaining?

I know the day is not over yet but I have been 100%! I felt so rough this morning and tired all day due to my binge last night.

Anyone got any tips on how I can survive my weekend away? Would it be best to have only two packs and then a small high protein low carbon meal in the evening?

2packs and a low carb meal should at least let you maintain I did lighter life 9 years ago and had 3 weeks in mexico where I had 2 packs and a low carb meal and still lost, pity I didn't learn then lol this time I am preparing myself for a low carb life

Just make sure that when you do eat it's low carb. Even if you do stray don't just think it's the end of the world and go on a binge, just pick yourself up and start again. I make sure I continue posting even when I do go off track. It helps keep me to account.

Thank you, just frustrated I messed up this week when I knew next week will be challenging!!

I will have two packs and a low carb meal which will be hard due to staying in a haven holiday camp which only seems to have chips, pizza, burgers and more chips!!

Hi L&S just caught up on your diary! Don't be too hard on yourself, you had a relapse but then picked yourself straight back up and got stuck in and that's the main thing.. Not giving in and fighting it.

If you stick to packs / bars through day and have 1 low carb meal in evening then it should at least prevent you from gaining while you are away!

Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, have a good time and just try your best xx

Well I have sts this week which is Ok as I have picked and had a big blow out on Monday night.
Hoping for a good loss next Wednesday and then I have to start ordering more!! I was thinking of doing a four week puck your own order this time round.

Well done on sts this week! That's really lucky :) I put weight on just having a naughty dream about food lol never mind actually eating it!

Good luck for next week! No more blowouts!! You'll end up wasting money buying packs otherwise.

Good luck :) xx
