Total Solution Sheridan's Pre Wedding Blitz!

So I've decided to do a diary here since I have found reading others really motivating and hope the addition of my own will continue me on the right path.

This is my 4th attempt at Exante TS and I've never lasted longer than 10 days! But I'm determined this time to stick with it for 5 weeks - the time left until my wedding day!

My starting weight is 14st 10lb which I found shocking, the highest I've ever been.

I'm aiming to lose roughly a stone and a half but ideally want to get done to 13 stone minimum by my wedding day.

So here I am on day 3/35 and going well do far. Managed to stay 100% since day 1 and want to keep it that way. The cravings haven't been too bad but psychologically I've been dying to eat some real food!

But will persevere. Excited for Friday as that will be my WI day.

Here's to losing! :)

That is an achievable target if you are good! I managed to lose 2st in five weeks when I did LT with no cheats for the first three weeks and then just the very occasional, low carb cheat. Good luck with it and remember how much better you'll feel looking back at your wedding photos if you're two stone lighter. :)

Wow that's an amazing loss for 5 weeks! I really hope I can achieve something like that :) how are you doing so far with your diet? :)

I'm doing OK - day 7 today so looking forward to weighing in tomorrow. But haven't been 100% so am not expecting a huge loss. I lost 12lbs my first week when I did LT but won't get anywhere near that this time. But it's not a race and this time I'm committed to the long haul. Just keep thinking every 1lb down is a step nearer to goal. Having said that, I'm aiming for an average of 3lbs a week. If I was looking to do 1lb a week I'd do WW or SW.

I'm sure you will still achieve a good loss. :) and that's a good mindset to be in, aiming for the long haul. You are right though, I don't think it's worth doing a VLCD if you're only looking for very small losses on average! We're here to shift those stones and we can do it!

Good luck Sheridan
I'm just finished week 2 and will look forward to cheering you on to your wedding goal!
Keep going!

Thank you Striver! Well done on making it two weeks! Are you doing Exante or a different diet? Hope you've been losing lots! :)

Welcome to the forum Sheridan. If you stay on track you can achieve your goal. The diary will help you do that & there is lots of support on here.
Glad today is going well & well done on almost completing week 2 x

Hi Sheridan I'm doing exante!
wouldn't saying enjoying it exactly, but it's fast!

You must be very excited about your wedding, happy days!

Lol if losing weight was fun, we wouldn't be here! I am excited! It was a last minute thing! We decided in January this year that we finally would do it and it's come around very quick!

In addition to Exante, I'm using body wraps to help firm up my saggy skin from having kids (ew!) as that's the most worrying for me about losing weight quickly on a diet like this :)

Good luck! :)

Thank you Darcy! Having a tough moment though as had to run and hide upstairs while the kids have dinner because it's one of my favourites, pasta and it smells so good! Must stay strong 100%! Haha

Stay strong!

Ugh. Feel so awful, headache and bad stomach pains. Just taking things slow and trying to relax but have two more packs to have and the thought of them is making me feel sick. Loooong evening ahead to get them down.

Stuck to my guns and nurse some water for an hour before having my shakes (fairly late I might add!) and seemed to help my headache so maybe was dehydrated. Though felt much better as soon as the kids actually went to sleep! Lol.

Start of day 4 and I feel slightly more energetic though can't tell if that is because of ketosis. Planning to start having my shakes a bit earlier, so that they don't all bundle up at night and put me off!

In addition, getting good results from using my second body wrap, there is a noticeable difference in my pouch (ugh- mummy tummy!)

So that's a plus :D here's to another 100% day, oh and revision for my exam :L

I know some people save up all their packs until the evening. I don't know how they do it. I have mine as if I was having breakfast, lunch and dinner and have coffee and bouillon in between times. Have a good day and hope the revision goes well. Don't envy you that!

I end up getting to the evening with two packs to have and not wanting them! So hoping this makes it easier to actually drink them! Need to get some bouillon when I go shopping this week.

With the revision, I really wish I didn't have to do it but my exam is on Wednesday and once it's done I've finished my second year of uni! Which can only be a good thing! :D

So got my bouillon and boy it was good. Definitely will be helpful on occasion :)

I'm very tired right now even though today has been a lazy day lol so a quick rest thanks to my lovely h2b then my second shake :)

You're doing really well Sheridan, well done for starting a diary, I really find it helps x

Thank you Katie! How are you getting on? It seems to be helping me make less excuses. Been another good 100% day, had all my shakes, a cup of bouillon and plenty of water. My h2b bought a hand blender so shakes have gone down a bit easier.

Glad to see the end of day 4. Only 32 days till wedding though :O
