    Smile Day by day diary to keep me motivated... I will do it this time!!!

    Hi I did Exante last year and lost about two and a half stone. My birthday came around followed by Xmas and that was it!! After numerous attempts since the new year I have finally managed to get to day 5.. I can feel im in Ketosis and feel really good.. Because of this I have decided to start a diary to keep me motivated. Although I didnt really plan to weigh myself until Sunday I had a sneaky peek.. I have lost 8lb.. I know that this is probably just the water weight you lose first but at least now I can get down to the task of shiffting the fat..

    I'm in a vaguely similar position. Lots of attempts to re-start and I really feel that this time I've cracked it. Am over half-way through week three and feeling very much 'in the zone'. Stick with it and come on here if you feel your motivation wavering. Good luck with round 2 and getting to goal.

    Thanks Cate.. Its weird isnt it. The results are so impressive the first time but if you stop it seems ten times harder to start again.

    I made it to day 6.. After such a positive start to the the day last night was so hard.. It was a Fri nt and the first ( as people like to call it ) heat wave of the year. All I could think about was the things I couldn't have. It felt like everyone was out having a great time and I was poor little old me with my spag bol pack an early nt. What a load of rubbish that was. I have woken up this morning feeling great for not giving in. Al in all it was just another testing day and not this lovely evening when the world was having fun and I wasn't!! Anyway day 6 is here.. I made it!!

    Thx Cate.. It's great to get some support when it's been tough and to know your not the only one going through it.. It's probably going to get worse again later. I know I can get through it and it's day seven ( weigh day ) tomorrow so that should spur me on.. Good luck with your weekend too

    I managed to get to day seven ( which is kind of a reward l of its own ) but I have just weighed myself and have only lost 8lb in total. I was 8lb down 2 days ago so sm a bit disappointed I have not lost more. If I hadn't of had a sneaky peak at the scales 2 days ago I would have been happy with the 8lb loss today. Oh we'll never mind!! I am definatly not going to weigh again until next Sunday. Good luck to everyone on their weigh ins

    I read this and it is pretty much what I posted in my diary this morning: See below.

    "So day 21, week three weigh in and no surprises. I am a total of 4lbs down this week. Taken as a week's loss I am really pleased with that. But I was 3lbs down on Wednesday and another 1lb down on Friday so in three days the scales haven't moved and in five days they've only moved by 1lb. I mustn't get sucked into this daily weighing lark. If I had weighed this morning to have found I'd dropped 4lbs in a week I'd have been thrilled. As it is I'm a tiny bit peeved that I'm the same weight today as I was on Friday. Anyway, 4lbs off is nothing to sniffed at. I have officially lost 1st in three weeks and am hoping that by next week I will have reached my first goal of 16st. And no weighing until next Monday!!!!!"

    I also only lost 8lbs in my first week and was disappointed as when I did Lipotrim, the first time I did a VLCD in 2011, I lost 12lbs in my first week so to only do 8lbs was disappointing. Then in week two I only lost 2lbs compared to 7lbs on LT and then this week, as is documented, I've lost 4lbs as opposed to 2lbs when I did LT. Try not to be too disappointed. Keep going and weigh in next Sunday. I am going to try and stay off the scales and only weigh weekly from now on. Wish I had the willpower to only weigh monthly.

    I am definatly only going to weigh once a week from now on.. I had a blip yesterday.. I let stress and a long day allow me to eat and drink.. I woke up feeling " why did I do that?" The treats were not that great and I would much rather have woken up this morning after successfully reaching day 9.. I am going to get back into Ketosis and I am NOT going to let that happen again!!!!!

    How many times will I say.. I'm starting again, this time I'll do it? It has taken me nearly 2 months and an additional 13 lb before I could get back on the Exante wagon.. Anyway I am now 13 stone 13 lb and ready to try again..
