It is working...good luck on your Exante journey!

Hello there, I apologise in advance as I'm not very tech savvy and will probably make lots of mistakes while finding my way round this site! I'm 5'4 and weigh a horrible 16 and a half stone! Cringe!! My ideal weight would be 10 stone, though can't remember the last time I weighed this. Got to 11 stone a few years ago on LL after my first child felt fab, but another two kids later and lots of excuses here I am! Have never done a diary on here before as you can probably tell but I have noticed having had a look through a few diary's how supportive everyone seems and how people say this makes all the difference! So wish me luck, starting tomorrow starting weight 16.10! Will be sticking to the bars only (have tried some of the shakes before and know that I prefer the bars. Sorry for rambling!!

Welcome and good luck. :)

Good luck Missmoss. The diary will help you stay on track & as you say there is lots of support on & encouragement on here.

Hope tomorrow goes well xx

Well am wide awake, just given my youngest a bottle she is nearly 3 months and still wakes in the night, yawn!! Feeling really motivated to start diet want to get fit and healthy and b the best I can be!! Right off to try and get a few hour sleep before my other 2 wake, usually around 6am. Hubby is snoring here, nice for some eh! Xx

Well, day one underway! Weight this morning 16st 9lb so 1lb less than I thought. Will try and leave it as long as possible before I have my first bar, I always want to pick more as the day goes on, 4pm onwards is usually where I lose my willpower. will also aim for 3lts of water. Feels like I've got such a long and daunting journey ahead of me! Will try and take it day by day and break it down to mini goals! First goal is to get into the 15,s! Hmmm wonder how long that will take?! Xx

If you stay 100% you have a great chance of being in the 15s this time next week. Just think about that if you feel yourself wavering. Good luck.

To be in the 15's by next week would b lovely! Haven't seen them since before I had my second child and he's 2 now!

Going ok so far, lots of water drank, will have to get a bottle, find it easier to keep track of my intake with a ltr bottle. Going to have my first bar in a min, the choc orange one I think. Got to prepare tea for everyone later, should be fun! ?

Cooking for the family is just one of those things we all have to come to terms with. It's just another one of those hurdles to get over but it does get easier. If it's anything too delicious, you could always try a peg on your nose and breathe through your mouth! LOL.

Hey Missmoss, welcome to the forum, and good luck on your weight loss journey. I know, the afternoons are tough and getting more difficult as the day goes into evening and you get more and more tired.
I admire you being determined to do this when you have clearly so much going on with a baby waking you up during the night, that must make sticking to something like Exante difficult.
But you have a plan in place, drinking lots of water and spacing your packs out and once you start seeing the results, I'm sure you'll be on a roll. And you know you can do it, you've done it before :)

Well day one was going really well, even made it past my usual 4pm danger time! That was untill a very challenging bedtime with my eldest (who is five) I'm such an emotional eater! I could feel my stress levels rising and I dived head first without any hesitation into the biscuit tin!!!!! ? Arrrgghhh!!!!! Why do I do it! Was feeling so determind and positive "this time will be different" blah blah blah!!! I must learn to recognise my triggers and deal differently with them! Hard to change the habit of a lifetime tho! Feeling bit deflated, how am I going to do this if I can't get thru day one!! ?

Biscuits aren't good. Could you have some cheese, chicken or ham ready to nibble on which, when you get into ketosis, will at least keep you in ketosis? That's what I do. On a positive note, as it's happened so early in the process, if you manage to be close to 100% for the rest of the week and only have a no carb cheat if you absolutely have to, you could still be in the 15s next week! Put it behind you and just get straight back to it. :)

Your right! Just need to put it behind me. Thank you for the encouragement! There is always cheese and ham in I just never think to go for that, it's like I go into automatic and before I even realise what I'm doing I'm shovelling in the junk! ?. New day tomorrow!! Got to keep going!! Thank you for your support. I hope you also have a good day on plan tomorrow x

Day 2
Had a good nights sleep little miss slept straight through till 4.30 had a quick feed and went back till 7.15 when my eldest came in so feeling revived! Thinking back to my blip last night, in hindsight it could have been worse! Had a few biscuits that I shouldn't have but I stopped at that, usually I would go on to demolish half the fridge! And I didn't have my third food pack. Gonna weigh tomorrow, like to daily weigh in the beginning as it gives you such a boost! Right off to sort the children out and get the eldest ready for school, my hubby home today so no school run in the rain for me, lovely! Will check in later. Have a good day everyone xx

Good to hear you sounding so positive. Have a good day. ;)
