Hay all decided to start a fresh with a new diary been reading everyone's and am really impressed with the loses willpower and determination. So here goes Iv tried and tried never really got past a week but now my other half is hitting the gym and sticking to it 5 weeks every morning very proud of him and his eating healthy and he is still a small guy I think Iv women up and seen the bigger picture.

Iv realised food isn't going anywhere ill do the diet exercise re educate myself about food and hopefully lose the pounds and be more confident..

Good luck Lilly. As you know, the first week can be tough and then thinking about doing this for months can be de-motivating if not downright depressing. I got very down just before my first weigh-in thinking about that but have stuck at it and have just completed week five. It's getting easier all the time and I'm now trying to focus on smaller goals i.e. I lost 4lbs this week taking me to 15st 10lbs so am now focusing on getting to 15st in the next three weeks. That's my next step and that's all I'm thinking about. After that it will be to get to 200lbs three weeks after that and then to hit 14st one week after that. And so on. Just got to find a way to keep on going for more than a week and you will get into the swing of it. Starting a diary is a good strategy to keep motivated. :)

Thanx cate that helped I'm gonna set small goals then rewards to keep me motivated and use events as goal sates how are you finding it

It's going OK. I'm good about 85 per cent of the time and when I cheat I do, in the main, have no carb cheats like some ham or a bit of cheese or smoked salmon. I use a heaped teaspoon of vanilla shake as a creamer in my coffee and have about two of these a day. I don't count these towards my packs; I just have a pack of vanilla shake open to use in this way on a daily basis. In the quantities I use it usually lasts through six coffees. In case you're thinking 'yuk' then do give it a whirl as I didn't like the idea but find it actually quite nice and preferable to black coffee. I have the occasional can of Coke Zero, not daily but maybe once every 2-3 days and the occasional cup of bouillon. It's working for me but I think everyone eventually finds their own stride with this.

Hey Lilly, first week can be tough, but before you know it you're at the end of it and quite a few pounds lighter :)

If I do have an event or anything I will still try my hardest not to eat and if I must then ill switch it to a working solution day I know it's gonna be tough but I have to do this all I find myself doing these days is pulling my top down or buying clothes to hide my figure.

All I find myself doing these days is pulling my top down or buying clothes to hide my figure.

Well done on not giving in! I have been having little cravings all afternoon. I tried a cup of Boullion which I've not had before, it was delicious and hit the spot. Recommend it if you've not tried it before.

Keep up the good work.

Iv got some in the cuboid is it nice

Welcome to the forum Lilly & well done on almost completing day one.

Temptations will keep rearing their head but they will pass in time so if you get tempted have a drink or do something to distract yourself.

Good luck & hope that this time you get into week two & beyond. Just come on here for support & motivation xx

Hope the rest of day one went well, stick with it and the weight will soon come off :)

Than you all bed time for me good night xxx c ya 2ma

Day 2. Going well so far
Banana shake
1ltr water
Bouillon

Day 3 and am feeling very proud of myself usually ok every time iv caved on day 1 then keep trying to restart for weeks and weeks but what iv decided is if I feel like it's to much on a particular day I'll turn it into a working solution the one where u add a meal
But can't wait for monad to weigh in x

Very sensible. I think you have to make the diet work FOR you in the best way possible. If that means having the odd no carb cheat or, in your case, adding a meal to have a WS day then that is far better than quitting altogether. It's best to do whatever you need to do to KEEP GOING. That is the most important thing.

Thanx all
Day 4 still feeling ok finding myself a bit. More tired then usual hopefully this will pass

Hi lilly, I went through a lull and lack of energy about day 4 also. I've been buzzing since day 6 which I guess is when Ketosis set in, hope it hits you soon. Stay positive & keep up the good work - it will be so worth it x
